My husband and I came across Skylar a few years ago on a hike. He was in pretty bad shape, lost in the woods so we took him home, de-flead and de-ticked hime and took him to the vets. We already had one dog and not a ton of time, but I wanted to try to give him a home with us. Fast forward and now we have a toddler, with another on the way and just not enough time for this pup. He really is sweet bit he just never truly became a permanent part of the family. It’s time to admit what is best for him is to find a home with more to offer. He’ll make someone a very good hiking/walking companion dog for sure! He absolutely loves the outdoors. Hope you’re interested in giving him the time he deserves! Thanks!

Maybelline is a sweet, happy dog who loves attention from people. She is now our longest resident and we'd love to see her find her forever home. She is eager to get out in the play yards to check out all the new smells, enjoy the sunshine, and bark at the wildlife. She is short with a long body and a classic Beagle tail that has a kink in it making us wonder if she broke it at some point before coming to TVR. She has played with both male and female dogs since she arrived and she does great with certain dogs but is choosy about who is going to be her friend. She loves to play fetch, have her belly rubbed while she rolls in the grass, and stand on her hind legs for hugs from her favorite people. This sweet, goofy girl is ready and waiting to be a great best friend and adventurous sidekick to her forever family!
