Story
Ray is a 3 year old 60 lb Shepherd Beagle  mix. He  is tan black and white.    He has been living with a young man for two years that lost his job.  He is house trained, leash trained. He loves sleeping in your bed and hanging out with his human. He has basic training.   He does have anxiety when he sees other dogs and cats so he will require more dog socialization and needs to be the only dog for now, or forever.  He is interested in lazy house cats, but pretty much avoids them. He will need an active rural home with a secure fence where he can get daily walks/hikes.  No kids in home for now, as he is anxious with kids and has not been around them for two years.  Taking applications from serious applicants.  All adopted pups and dogs are transported to WA/OR families when fully vetted, spayed/neutered and microchipped.    For information on how to adopt me, please contact my foster parents at   info@dogdiggityrescue.com  . L&S Dog Diggity Rescue is headquartered in San Antonio, Texas, where there are over 350,000 homeless pets. We save homeless and abandoned dogs and find them loving forever homes in other areas, where pet homelessness is not epidemic. All of our pets are located here, in San Antonio, and we partner with  rescues to provide transportation for our pets to their new homes. Our adoption fee includes vet care (vaccinations, spay/neuter, microchipping, etc), as well as transportation and health certificate. Story
We were told Penny is a German Shepherd/Beagle mix. She is full of energy and always ready to play. She loves being outside no matter what's going on. She loves going for walks and playing with other dogs. She is crate trained and house trained, but we do not leave her out at night. She is a great dog. We do not have time to give her the attention she needs.

Story
Meet Bea, she is a (roughly) ten year old beagle/hound mix from Florida. My husband adopted her from the humane society last year. She was a happy dog and adjusted well to our home and life. This last August my husband decided to leave and did not take his little girl with him. I had to move in with my parents and that’s where problems started. Bea has an aversion to my mother. She barks and lunges at her whenever she gets the chance. All attempts at rekindling a bond between them have failed and thus Bea and my mother need an environment in which they can live comfortably. Bea is a proper old lady and likes gentle and well mannered people. She needs to lose a few pounds as my dad gives in to treat demands. She also would benefit from a consistent walk schedule. Bea loves to just lay down next to you and hang out. She would benefit from a home without children and preferably without other pets.

Story
Animal Profile:  AJ is an estimated 1-year-old male beagle terrier mix who joined us from California on 3/29. Our volunteer transporter reports that AJ is easy to handle but still a little scared. He would do well with another dog in the home to show him the ropes. AJ will need someone who can be patient with him and work on his leash manners. We will post more info as we get to know him! Seattle Foster Update: Sweet AJ is starting to come out of his shell! He gets very excited for meal times and even gave me kisses today during our meal routine. He is figuring out “sit” and really enjoys exploring the house and the backyard. He’s still wary of the “outside” world but is very cozy in his crate and often retreats there after wandering around the house a bit. It's such a joy to see this baby boy blossom! Adoption Info: Adoption fee is $500 which includes his neuter, all core vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test and health certificate. Your adoption fee may be tax deductible as Dog Gone Seattle is a federal 501c3 organization. Apply online: www.doggoneseattle.org/adoption-application About Foster to Adopt Program:  Fosters provide a safe landing spot for dogs transitioning from the shelter environment and help prepare the dogs for adoption. You provide the love and structure, and we take care of everything else! We cover all vet care, and drive the adoption process. Average length of foster is 2-3 weeks. Fosters do get first consideration for adoption, if desired.  Apply to foster online at www.doggoneseattle.org/foster-application

Story
Meet Manolo!  Manolo is about one year old. He looks like a Beagle mix and is around 35 lbs. He was rescued from an overcrowded shelter in CA.  Manolo appears to be a very shy boy. Clearly he did not come from great beginnings. He is wary of people and will shake a bit when he first meets you. He is gentle though and once he warms up enjoys affection. He does not like being alone and will do best in a home where someone is around much of the time. He is not suited for an apartment due to his typical Beagle like bark. He does not yet know how to walk on a leash and needs some gentle guidance. He will do best with a patient person who is willing to work with him and help him gain confidence. He needs a home with a secure yard and no young kids (he is kind and gentle but kids will be too much chaos for him). Manolo will be vaccinated, chipped and neutered prior to adoption. His adoption fee is $395.    We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life! To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
