Story
I’ve had AK since he was 6 weeks old. I got him while living in TN. He came along with his littermate/brother. I’ve always called him my shadow puppy. He’s subtle and reserved. A little anxious but all the way cuddly. He’s beautiful and gets compliments every time he goes out. He’s good on leash (will stubbornly linger to sniff stuff). He likes to have his paw held - it puts him right to sleep. And when he decides to be playful, he’s tons of fun! He’s big and built like a brick house so in his excitement he might accidentally knock you over but he’ll always check on you and give you kisses to make sure you’re ok. I’m giving him away because a few weeks ago he had an aggressive incident. I was hoping it would was isolated (because it was very random) but a pattern of behavior has emerged. I know he can be trained out of this but I simply can’t make it work while another dog is in the home. He needs a low stimuli environment with lots of attention and care. Someone experienced.

Friendly boyRascal resides at a rescue in Arkansas.   Please contact Gail's Pets Second Chance with any questions regarding Rascal.Rascal is a wonderful friendly male German Shepherd mix.  He is estimated to be 5 years old as of mid October 2019.  He weights approximately 60 pounds.Rascal was found wandering in a rural area.  No owners came forward after posting him on various sites, so he was brought to Gail's Pets.Rascal was very shy when he first arrived, but within a few days came out of his shell and meets everyone at the gate to his pen with his tail wagging.  He loves everybody he meets and he loves playing with other dogs. We have discovered that he can climb a fence, so he's currently in a pen with a roof on it.  Please don't let that stop you from adopting this sweet boy.  He is so worth the effort.
