Please contact Jeff Tarpley (JEFFnTEXARKANA@aol.com) for more information about this pet.Cilla loves to play ball, and she even brings the ball back!Cilla is a 6-year-old sable German Shepherd. She weighs 74 pounds after losing about 10 pounds with about 10 to go. She came to rescue because of her dad’s health...and dad loves her too much to keep her from having a person or family who will play ball with her every day. Cilla is used to being an outside dog, patrolling the yard and hanging out in her bed on the covered patio. In rescue she has learned to come inside and sleep in her crate at night. While Cilla enjoys being out and about, she likes it more when her family comes out to spend time with her each day, so a person or family who likes to sit on the porch or spend time in the yard would be a good fit. Cilla has also not been around a lot of people, but while she has been skittish with each new person met, she has not shown any aggression and eventually relaxes as she gets to know people. We think Cilla would do well with older, respectful children who would play games with her. Cilla is fine with other dogs and will run and play. Cilla is smart and knows sit and shake. She pulls on the leash and needs work if regular leash walking is desired. Cilla is heartworm negative, vaccinated and spayed. Adoption fee is $150. Must apply to be considered for adoption.
