We found Hercules wandering in the heat not too long ago. He is an incredibly sweet boy, around six years old. He is 100 percent the "big baby" dog cliche and loves nose scratches. We are still working on making sure he is neutered, microchipped, and has all of his shots, so that will happen before he is rehomed.

This is Lionel (HWTH#19205A). He is a Belgian Shepherd mix, DOB: 1/16/19. Lionel weighs approximately 35 pounds (he is slightly underweight) and stands 18 inches at the shoulders. Lionel and his siblings are among a group of 20 dogs rescued from a hoarder in the Antelope Valley. None of them was fed properly or given any real socialization with either humans or other dogs outside their group. Lionel is a very sweet but timid boy; he shows no aggression and does warm up to you when he becomes acquainted with you and with attention. It will be imperative for his new owner to be a kind, patient person willing to give Lionel a bit of time to adjust to his new surroundings, give him the love, good quality human companionship, structure, exercise and possibly playtime as well as the training and socialization he needs so Lionel can learn to enjoy life and experience the bond between dog and human. When Lionel is thoroughly settled in his new Forever home, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands, socialization with both new dogs and other humans as well as the bonding with his new owner. Lionel should also be given a variety of appropriately-sized chew toys so he has an outlet for puppy chewing even though he is almost 1 year old. This is Lorenzo (HWTH#19208A). He is a Belgian Shepherd mix, DOB: 1/16/19. Lorenzo weighs 45 pounds and stands 21 inches at the shoulders. He, his sibling Lois and their other siblings are a part of 20 dogs rescued from a hoarder in the Antelope Valley. Lorenzo is a sweet boy who is very timid with strangers but shows no signs of aggression. He did not receive any socialization while living with his previous owner. What Lorenzo is going to need from his new owner will be lots of love, a great deal of kindness and patience as well as structure, lots of good-quality human companionship, and socialization so Lorenzo learns to trust, feel secure and experience the bond between dog and human. He will respond to petting, affection and kind words. When Lorenzo is thoroughly settled in his new surroundings, he will benefit from positive basic obedience training to help with leash training, other obedience commands, the socialization with other dogs and people and the bonding process with his new owner. He is good with other dogs and is beginning to be crate friendly but may need some house training. Lorenzo should also be given an assortment of appropriately-sized chew toys so he has an outlet for puppy chewing since he is still under a year old. There is not as much activity as there use to he. He does like to run. Lately he has been escaping our yard. We fear he is going to get out and hit by a car. He hates fireworks. Has anxiety over them. He needs a family that can devote time to him. He loves being with you. Loves car rides. He listens to you until he has escaped and is running free. You can not chase him, he thinks it is game. He will walk with you on a leash. If you are someone that has a family or activity in your home he is the dog for you. He loves being with people.

He easily pulls 3 people on a regular leash/prong/harness. he needs to be with a family with years of experience with GSD or Rottweilers

We found her on the street, she is a beautiful German Shepard, is wonderful with our 4yoa and with the cat and other dog. She just turned five months per the Vet. She is fully immunized and medically fit. I have to leave the state and can not take her with me. Her only issue is she was beaten by her prior owner and kows down and slightly urinates when approached in an angry manor. Over the months we have had her she has become strong and independent with most of her fear response gone but I will not let her go to an aggressive owner or harsh discipline believer.
