LOOKING FOR A SPONSOR... Hi there! My name is Teddy and I am a seven-year-old, 12-pound male bichon and I am in need of sponsorship. I am loving and affectionate but I am sometimes fearful and require lots of patience and love. I will do best with a single forever foster or adopter who would give me their undivided attention. I can be with another pup but I would rather be an 'only'. I have had some scary things happen to me so I'm not instantly trusting. It takes me a little more time to accept other people but I'm surrounded by love so I'm learning to trust. I have been here at BROC for quite some time so my Auntie Em knows me well and recognizes my fear as well as my calm curiosity. Because I require a very special adopter, I am in need of sponsorship to help cover the costs of annual checkups, and a dental cleaning every six months. LOOKING FOR A SPONSOR... Hello! My name is Petey and I am an 8-year-old, 12-pound male Bichon.  I am sweet, cute, lovable, and non-shedding! I have a wonderful foster family who loves me and takes really good care of me.  I have been a BROC babe for 2 years! They say I am a Special kinda guy and say they will care for me forever but they need help.   Mom says I’m an adorable, eager, energetic, funny and loyal little guy. I am all those good things but I do have one kind of unique way about me. You see I need to be the one to approach people, as opposed to having them come up to me or try to grab and hold me. That really upsets me.  As you can imagine, I’m so cute that people always want to hug me and pick me up!  But that makes me very nervous and scared and sometimes and I try to protect myself.  Of course, once I know and trust you, I make up for it with lots of kisses and cuddles. Hello! My name is Roxy and I am a 12 year old, 9 pound female Bichon Frise mix.  I am sweet little "love bug".  I'm not a barker and love my long walks a couple time a day. I am a bit sight impaired, yet that does not stop me a bit from getting where I need and want to go. I love to eat and take long naps, so I would love to join you on the couch for an afternoon nap if you need a partner. LOOKING FOR A SPONSOR... Hello! My name is Juliet and I am a 10-year-old, 16-pound female Bichon Frise mix. I am a senior lady that has so much love to give! I so want to please and cuddle. Though I am a bit stubborn, as we older women often get, I respond well to gentle coaxing and words of praise. I love rolling in the grass and sitting on the porch with my loved ones. I happily sleep in my crate, or in your bed, when nighttime falls. I am very well behaved in the bath since you are touching, loving, and talking to me  I get a bit confused when given commands, ie sit, stay, but I'm a quick learner as to what my pack expects of me. I do not consider cats part of my pack! I enjoy my foster family, they are taking very good care of me. My BROC family would like you to know that I am part of a very special group of pups at BROC. They say I am a pup with special needs. I have mammary tumors and the doctor said the biopsy was inconclusive and the tumors are inoperable. My BROC Aunties can tell you all about it. Hello everyone,  My name is Sofia and my personality is as big as my beautiful name. I'm a 5-year-old small 8-pound Bichon Frise mix.  I am fun, loving and full of spirit!  They call me a SPECIAL NEEDS PUP so if you are not up to taking on a small challenge in exchange for a lot of love and fun, I'm not the pup for you. I took a fall before becoming a BROC BABE and the doctors said I would NEVER walk again due to a spinal cord rupture. But my foster mom says I have the will to get wherever I want, nothing holds me back. I take long walks with and without my wheels, I walk with all my fur siblings and chase bunnies like no other.  My BROC Aunties got some custom wheels for me and you should see me run. I'm like a horse in its chariot, and I must say, I do look adorable.  As far as me being housebroken, well that is still a challenge, especially when I get excited. Mom says it takes patience and a little know-how and that part is manageable. I think I would be the best going with a forever family that has experience with a pup on-wheels, like me! I love my foster family but I need and want a forever family.
