Adoption fee 450$. CHARLIE was found with his deceased owner. He was taken to the shelter where he was not doing very well and we brought him into to rescue and placed him in specialized foster care for 6 months where he had a chance to relax and recover from all he had been through. CHARLIE is a unique personality. He will take time to build a relationship with his new owner. We do believe his previous owner may have not always been the nicest to CHARLIE. CHARLIE will bite if he is uncomfortable. That is why we have taken our time with him before putting him up for adoption in order to learn his triggers and develop a management strategy for his new owner once we have found them. CHARLIE is a loving and loyal dog. He is very well behaved, and loves to go for walks. He can live in an apt/condo setting. CHARLIE enjoys playing with toys. He had no previous experience with other dogs and we have been working on his socialization.. He is good with dogs now, and lives with dogs in foster care, but should go to a home where he is the only dog unless his new owner is VERY experienced in managing more than one dog in their home. CHARLIE deserves a chance to show a new family what a great companion he can be. While he would rather cuddle with you , than have you manhandle him all the time, he is very affectionate. He just needs the time to bond with his new people, and that will not happen overnight. CHARLIE is a very smart and interesting little boy to have around. As he becomes more attached to you, you begin to feel his his true loving heart...
