Hazel and her brothers were at an animal control in Texas. They were very young and at risk of being euthanized. They were saved by our Rescue Partner in the area. They have had a rough start but their future is bright. original intake 2/16/19; Returned 6/14/19Hi! My name is Savannah, and I am a lovely Treeing Walker Coonie mix gal who had a pretty rough start to life back in KY. I ended up in a shelter with a hurt leg and had gotten pretty skinny from my days trying to find food ... but then wow did I hit the jackpot! Not only did I make it to Starfish Animal Rescue in Illinois, but I now live with the most experienced Hound foster family ever. I love my hound brother and sister and love to play in the yard. My humans tell me I am beautiful and gentle and that I would be a perfect friend for a family who wants a loyal girl by their side. I even figured out that I like cats! I am about 2 yrs old, am about 45 lbs and housebroken, and sleep quietly all night like a good girl. I am just waiting patiently for my forever family to find me.  The adoption fee of 300.00 will include spay/neuter, microchip, age appropriate/required vaccinations, treatment for heartworm and any other necessary medical treatment to assure a healthy new pup for your family. Although we do the best to describe breed, since our pups all come from shelters we can make no guarantee. We can tell you that they are 100% RESCUED!
