Story
We rescued the mother to these pups off of a busy highway. After an unsuccessful, extensive search for her owner we decided to keep her. Our bloodhound instantly fell in love with her before we got her in to be fixed. These 3 really need to find their forever homes because since their arrival we saved another dog from another busy road & we are in the process of trying to find her people. So we have to keep them in a large horse stall for their safety & although we do allow them several hours a day to run and play, they really need a yard and more attention. They are smart, very lovable & they very much want to please.

Story
Honey came from the Kyle humane society in 2012 when she was a puppy. She is the sweetest dog, and very smart too. She has become more anxious over the years and it seems we don’t have quite enough time for her — to work through it. She’s home for most of the day alone and she desperately wants to spend more time with her humans. She is great with our 6 year old. She can shake and roll over on command. Cons: she has made a habit of peeing inside and barks at sounds she hears outside. Honey can jump over a 4ft fence.

Story
Bear is the most amazing dog! We found him at a local shelter and he was just a spunky happy go lucky dog even in those circumstances. He is very active and needs a friend or an active family to play with. From what we can tell he is a bloodhound shepherd mix and knows basic commands like sit lay down stay and leave it he is also crate trained. He is very smart and with the right family he can learn even more. He does definitely need more leash training and I have found a head harness to be the best bet when walking him as he pulls. He is a healthy strong 4 year old weighing in at 50 pounds which is his ideal weight. Bear does have some minor separation anxiety but all around does well when crated if we are not home. We find he does well with cats but is hyper so more of a young playful cat versus too little or older calmer cats. He loves long nature walks and lots of running. He does well with kids as long as they know the boundaries and respect all animals require.
