Bombay kittens & cats in Bemidji, Minnesota

We rescued Bengal from a shelter 13 years ago when my son was young & we had our own house. He is 14 years old, neutered, & litter box trained. The reason Bengal needs a new home is because my son has since grown & left home, & I have developed cat allergies that are worsening & causing breathing problems; therefore I can't give Bengal the love & attention he needs & my Dr.said he has to go. He loves to be loved & petted & I just can't any more. He has developed licking sores which I've been told is likely stressor-related (&can be controlled with occasional meds if need be, although I try not to because the steroids are hard on his body if taken continuously).His sores developed & worsened since my son left, so I believe they're xxxx@xxxx.x was an excellent mouser when we lived in houses with mice.He's very calm & stays out of the way, but delights in any attention or petting. I feel bad that he's so hungry for that but with my worsening allergies I can't give it to him.

Momo's former caretakers left the area, leaving Momo behind in their one-bedroom apartment with limited food and water. Despite this rough start, she is a spunky and loving kitty with a fondness for snuggles and exploring. She came to us pretty skinny, but she has gained weight nicely and is now normal for her age, estimated about 5-8 months. She has all the spirit and curiosity of a kitten with the attachment and litter-training of an older cat. Our favorite things to do with Momo are to watch her explore outside, play with the laser pointer as she runs back and forth, and to snuggle as she climbs right up on our chests and demands attention! She is a sweet, energetic young kitty who deserves a loving home.
