Story
My momma used to do Door to Door sales for Charter when she came to a door, where a lady was giving away a kitten litter. The woman told my momma that she found the litter in a box on the side of the room, and she decided to take them home. My momma took Trumpet because she always wanted an orange cat. We named him Trumpet because he's orange and loud like one. We got Trumpet 2015, so he's 4 years old. Trumpet is a semi-indoor cat, he sleeps in the house and he'll stay in there for a while but he likes to lay outside better. He's scared of cars so when you crank it up, he won't be anywhere near it. It takes Trumpet awhile to get used to strangers, he usually runs away from them or gives them a look. I hope that Trumpet will be able to roam free but be well kept.

Story
Jesse is a super loving cat. Loves to cuddle and loves his groceries. After living a life on the streets, he got stuck in a building in downtown Greer where we trapped him and brought him to rescue. Once in a foster home, he decided he loved being petted and enjoyed the domestic life. Jesse certainly is a love bug. He very much likes other cats. Not yet fond of dogs because they are a little scary (only been around big dogs) but he is not aggressive to them. Jesse is looking for a safe indoor home with lots of food and hands to pet him. To meet Jesse, please fill out this application: https://www.adoptapet.com/saved-by-the-heart/adoption-application/ Once we review the application, we will set up a time with you to meet Jesse and answer any questions. Adoption fee will be discussed, home visits are required. Potential adopters should be able to show vet records if they currently have or previously had pets. Any questions can be emailed to savedbytheheart@gmail.com or text it to 864.907.2167. Phone calls are rarely answered. We are a volunteer run organization based out of Greer SC and work schedules vary so we appreciate your patience during the adoption process. We do have a Foster-to-Adopt Program if you are interested in testing the animal in your home before making the commitment to adopt. Email us for details on this program.
