Story
I had to move my little boy into my parent's house and my baby is not happy, I moved out of state and now he is living in a house where nobody is ever home. He is kinda like a dog in the sense that he NEEDS people. He wants to sit in someone' lap or next to their laptop all day, follow someone around the house, go on daily walks to the mailbox, and have a person he can talk to. He’s had several UTI and stomach aches recently and the vet can’t find anything wrong and thinks the cause is most likely stress-related, as it all started when I moved him in with my parents. So I am sadly looking for a new forever home. Maybe someone who works from home or is retired that wants the companionship of a dog with the low maintenance of a cat. He is super friendly, greeting newcomers at the door, good with kids and small dogs love to be held like a baby and have his belly rub. He’s not the nicest to other cats so an only cat household would be best.

Story
Kitty is 13 years old. I’ve owned him my entire life. unfortunately he is extremely susceptible to stress, I’m 21 and traveling and can’t give him the stable life he needs. Recently his hair lost pigmentation and the vet didn’t know what was wrong. We think it’s due to stress. He has urinary tract problems and needs special food. He has some behavioral problems like humping things ALL THE TIME. The vet prescribed us some medication a few years ago and he got better and we stopped giving it to him but when we moved the behavior started back again. He loves to hunt and is always bringing critters home, is extremely affectionate and likes to spend a lot of his time outdoors and sunbathing. Really he just needs a stable home without other pets and stable medications. Right now it’s just really hard for me to give him the time, love , support, and effort that he needs and it’s sadly affecting his overall health. He needs a home that isnt so random and chaotic all the time.

You must submit an application to be considered to adopt or to set up a meet and greet. Fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/cat-adoption-application It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. Right now, Mickey is stuck in Missouri with his foster mom and due to COVID-19, will not be available to meet and greet until it is safe to travel. Oh Mickey you're so fine, you're so fine you blow my mind... Hey Mickey!!! Meet Mickey. He is a very sweet and affectionate Bombay mix kitty. Mickey's Mama was found under a good samaritan's shrubs with 4 kittens on July 22. They took them all in and began raising them in their home.  Mickey is good with dogs, cats and kids. He enjoys being picked up and loved on. He is quiet, gentle, mellow, lap kitty. He'll make a good snuggle buddy. He also loves to play. He is a well rounded fella. Per his foster mom, Mickey is a big cuddly lump. He enjoys playing with his sisters but is not quite as coordinated. He purrs every time you pick him up. Adoption fee includes: Combo disease testing, multiple types of deworming, fecal tests, first shots and boosters, microchip and spay/neuter.  To set up a meet and greet, please first fill out an application at savinghoperescue.org. It doesn't obligate you, but it is the first step. We don't get to all of the inquiries but respond to all applications. Thank you for choosing to rescue and meow! ##522789##

Story
We took him as he was the neighborhood cat in need of a home. He is definitely a lap cat and loves to cuddle and not too much for play. He is not shy when new people are nearby and can be quite talkative when hungry. He is very tolerable and has a lot of patience. He is so smart! He knows how to give you Paw and a high five! And can definitely learn new tricks. We believe Pablo should be placed in a home where he is the only cat as he does tend to get jealous of other cats. Pablo does not enjoy drinking from a bowl and may need a water fountain in order to ensure he stays hydrated. He does eat a little fast so we do have a cat tree to slow down his eating.
