Story
Meet Mollie! Miss Mollie is a 1-2 year old border collie/lab mix. She’s currently 40 lbs, heartworm negative, UTD on vaccines and spayed. She absolutely loves people and other dogs. She’s best with dogs her size, since she still has puppy instincts and plays hard. She loves to go for walks/runs with her foster family and enjoys going for rides. She’s wonderful with the children in her foster home and their lab. She’s never been around cats but can be tested with them if necessary. She would make a great only dog or a companion to another. To add Mollie to your home, complete an application on our website, www.packleadersrescue.com.

Story
Hello world, I'm Moxie! I am a 7 month old Border Collie/Cairn Terrier mix. I currently tip the scales at 16lbs and may be around 20lbs when I grow up! New adventures and meeting people and doggy friends are high on my "to do" list. My foster mom says that I am very social and very busy - hey, what can I say? I'm a high energy kind of girl that could even give the Energizer Bunny a run for his money! But don't be fooled, I love to snuggle as close as possible though when it's nap time or bed time. So if you're looking for a happy, friendly girl who likes to be on the go, look no further. Oh, and if you have another dog or two to be my partner/partners in crime, that would be great! To learn more about me, please contact Linda at linda.l@poainc.org.

Story
Welcome Onyx to CCPAL Rescue. She is an adorable medium sized dog. We think she is about 1.5 years old. We got a call by one of our favorite rescuers named Holley. Someone found her on the streets of Texas and she had a litter of puppies. They were about 6 weeks at the time. Holley cleaned them up and brought them to CCPAL. They are now weaned and we will be getting the momma dog spayed and ready for her forever home. She is adorable. She is a very gentle and lower energy dog. She doesn’t jump up. She is fully potty trained, loves her kennel, good with cats and good with dogs. She is so fantastic that her foster mom just leaves her uncrated when she goes to work. She weighs about 25 pounds. She is the size of a Bassett Hound but thinner and more dainty features. We think she is a Border Collie and Basenji due to her curly tail. She is quiet in her foster home and not too vocal. She would be a great dog for someone who wants a rescue dog who has skills and easy to handle. She would be perfect for a family that want to be wowed by a wonderful rescue dog. She is one of those dogs that make you scratch your head and wonder how anyone could let a dog this good get away. She would work in an apartment or in a condo with a smaller yard. She would be a great walking companion and would be a nice house companion for someone looking for this lower energy girl. She was a fantastic momma dog and we adore her. She is currently in Texas and can be adopted locally or we can work with one of the local transporters to deliver her to Washington, Portland, Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. Her adoption fee is 200 and transport is 185. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email to maudreyh@aol.com for an application. See her cute video!!

Story
Hugh Jackman is a handsome, 6 year old Border Collie mix male that weighs 73 pounds and is as loving as can be.  This boy lost his forever mom when she died recently and he found himself being brought to the shelter by her family.  He was so sad and really depressed to be there.  Seems that mostly the young and puppy-like dogs leave first.  Critter Cavalry Rescue saw a wonderful middle-aged soul in Jackman and knew he would be perfect for some empty nesting couple or even a young couple who doesn’t want puppy energy in their home.  Hugh  Jackman is a good boy with just the right amount of medium energy and loads of snuggles and cuddles. If you love a gentle giant then Hugh Jack is the one for you!!!   He is a handsome black and white boy that never meets a stranger and is great with dogs and cats alike.  What’s not to love about HUGH JACKMAN!  Please contact ccrtennessee@gmail.com about Jack if you are interested in giving him a future again…a long term future. PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.com  Sorry, we cannot adopt to MA residents.
