Story
Lady was found living inside an old barn and nursing her puppies. When SoCo Rescue team members went to rescue her and her pups, they were amazed at how friendly and accepting Lady was of our attempts to help them all. That sweet personality has continued during her stay at SoCo as she seems to thrive on human contact.Lady's puppies, the same that we labeled as the "sweet" litter with names such as Cookie, Cream, etc, have all been adopted and are living in New Jersey. Lady's friendliness isn't just regulated towards people. She and another mom dog who is similar in size, have become best friends and can often be found playing together in their kennel. Unfortunately, when she sees our house cat, Lady becomes a little disruptive so we're assuming she may not be cat friendly. Regardless, she will make a great candidate as a family companion, even in a home with younger children. Lady has now been fully vetted, de-wormed and started on her monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventatives. She also recently tested negative for heartworms. A microchip will accompany her adoption.
