Story
Dimples is just a big ol’ teddy bear!! He is definitely a bigger dog for a border collie. He is about 7-8 years old I believe. He was rescued from an abusive owner that was a former acquaintance of ours. He has lived in the house with my significant other and I, as well as our 5 year old daughter and two other dogs. We are moving out of state me unfortunately we cannot take any of them with us. He just needs a good home where someone would enjoy a dog that is extremely lovable and friendly and is well trained to do some tricks and He kennel trained as well. Thanks so much for any one interested.

Story
Meet Jager!Jager was surrendered to the shelter when her owner could no longer provide care for her. She eagerly awaits her new family.Jager is a shy soul, but wants love more than anything. She is definitely more of a ladies dog, but will warm up to men with time. She loves to cuddle with you, or to just lay at your feet when working. She will follow you to the ends of the earth once she bonds with you.She does okay with dogs her size once properly introduced. She does not like small animals, so small dogs/cats are a no-go for her. She has been around kids of all ages and does just fine.Once she warms up, she is an energetic, playful pup who is full of sunshine and rainbows. She is always so happy to see you and can't wait to bond with her new family! Give us a call to schedule a meet with Jager!

Story
Foster Location: Meridian, ID Adoption Fee: $150 Age: 8 months – 1 year Breed: Border Collie Mix – around 45 pounds Spayed, vaccinated, microchipped Adoption application: http://fuzzypawzrescue.com/adopt/adoption-application-2/ Piper came to Fuzzy Pawz after being transferred to a local shelter from the Duck Valley Indian Reservation. The shelter made sure she was healthy but quickly realized she’d do better in a home as she was so nervous in the shelter environment. Piper wants to meet you SO BAD! She LOVES meeting new people and will lean in and present her belly for some rubbing. Having lived her life as an outside dog she is learning the luxuries of being an inside dog. All the noises, obstacles and smells are new to her and will take some time getting used to. That being said, this girl is a fast learner. She would really benefit from having another confident dog in the house to help her learn how great it is to go on walks, car ride adventures, use the dog door to go chase squirrels and snuggle on the couch with your human. We are working on all these new, exciting things, but they do take time, consistency and patience. She’s doing well with house training and has scratched at the door to be let out. The flap on the dog door scares her, but she’s made it through a few times for some steak! Brave girl! Most rewarding of all was the introduction of toys to Piper’s life! Now that she knows how much fun they are she will drag every single toy out to play with them – a home that will supply her with tons of toys is a MUST! Her coat is thick, velvety soft and her tail looks like a fox’s tail. She will need consistent grooming to keep her luscious coat white and soft. She didn’t enjoy the bath or the blow dryer at a salon we took her to, but she stood there quietly until we were done. Piper is a wonderful companion and just wants to be near her person. She’s definitely still a puppy and would benefit from some puppy training classes to learn some basic manners. Right now she knows sit, but staying in that position is a bit too exciting when treats are near! Leash training is going well, she walks confidently along side her doggie sister, then occasionally she’ll get excited and jump up on her people just because! Piper would do best in a home with at least one other dog, preferably no cats and no kids under 12 please.
