Story
My family and I adopted Nelly 2 years ago. She is 4 years old as of this past may. She is a sweet girl, but unfortunately she is too protective for us to have around our 6 younger children. She needs lots of land to be able to run around (border collie in her). A good home for her would be someone with land to run, and no kids, with lots of love and attention to be given. She is very smart, but also stubborn in her own ways. It breaks our hearts to have to do this but we can't risk her doing more than just nipping at our kiddos. We pray we can find the right new family for her!!

Story
AJ is a super friendly dog. She is smart and knows a lot of basic commands. She is house trained and kennel trained. She is also microchipped. We just had a baby and she isn’t getting the attention that she needs. She loves being outside and going for walks. She has a lot of energy, so it’s best if she isn’t in a house with babies (she loves to run around the house).

Story
We adopted Arrow from KC pet project on November 2nd of 2019. He is just now 2 years old. We fell in love with him at the shelter and were told that Arrow did okay with other Dogs but they were unsure about Cats. We have 2 cats so we were concerned but determined to give it a chance. We also looked into him being able to go to dog parks and play groups so he wasn’t always kenneled. He is a lover and protector. Very playful, very focused on hands and feet. Motivated to learn by treats and food. So smart. When we brought him home, We tried so many integrating techniques and methods. But to no avail. We are just sad that Arrow and the cats have to live very sheltered separate lives. We just can’t be sure he won’t hurt one of them. We want to get a good forever home for Arrow. One where he is the only dog, free to run and be active and challenged. Like I said he is very smart. Are you the one for Arrow?

Story
He was given to my girlfriend and I by a woman that had him as a farm dog. Her living situation changed and she couldn't keep him. When he was surrendered to us, we were told that he would be great in our apartment and that he was totally potty trained and command trained and had no issues. That was FAR from the truth and at this point, we just can't give him what he needs. Our work schedules aren't suitable for a pup that needs the attention he needs as we both work long and late hours. We've worked a ton with potty training and he really only has potty problems overnight. He knows sit and down and is somewhat kennel trained. He doesn't like it much, but he deals with it. He did come from a shelter previously so he is a little stingy when it comes to toys and food. He is not aggessive, but will weasel his way into our other dog's food bowl if he sees her eating. He LOVES bigger kids and will snuggle and play all day. We have 2 cats that he's great with too, but gets pretty crazy.lol
