Story
Rush is an 11yo Border Collie/chow/Afghan hound mix. He is very sweet and great with children. He used to live with my in-laws and their grandchildren loved to play with him. That being said, Rush has separation anxiety. He hates being alone. If humans leave, he does well if there is another dog present who is his size or larger. He will be very stressed when left completely alone though. I would prefer for his new home to already have a medium/large sized dog so that the new owner can come and go as they please without stress.

Teddy Bear is a 6-8 year old male Border Collie maybe Cocker Spaniel mix. He will be ready for adoption after Feb 20th. He is a sweet and friendly boy once he gets to know you. Teddy has a playful side and loves to chase balls in the yard. He would probably do best with older or no kids. you can come visit him this Saturday at the O’fallon, Mo Petsmart store.All pets are spayed/neutered, microchipped, up to date on vaccinations and on a flea/tick preventative.  Cats are tested for FIV/FeLV and dogs are tested for heartworms. Adoption fee is $110 for cats and $150 for dogs. Story
I adopted Hamilton (Ham) about 5 years ago when we were living in Colorado. He's probably around 5.5 years old now. He has always been passionate about fetch and particularly loves chasing after tennis balls and frisbees. He's also a strong swimmer and a dip in a pond or the ocean is a sure way to make his day. Ideally Ham would be the only pet in his new home, although a low-key cat could probably make an appropriate sibling. Ham would also prefer a home that only has older kids, if any. We are rehoming him because he doesn't get along with one of his canine siblings and as a result can't live his best life with us. Ham is loyal, affectionate and attentive. He enjoys hikes in the woods just as much as he enjoys snuggles on the couch. He's truly the sweetest soul.

Cow came to us from a breeder near Hannibal, MO who breeds Catahoula's. Their female had an accidental litter with their neighbors Male Border Collie. Cow is a loving and protective dog. He watches over my 9 and 5 year old. He is vocal when out iij n public, andi have had to mussel huh I'm for this, but he has.never shown aggression in public. He is a dominant dog, definite alpha mentality. He is extremely smart. Cow has had some jealousy issues with my female Aussie Cattle dog mix. He has acted aggressive when feeding, and I have had to feed them separate. We are moving to an apartment where we can only have one dog. It hurts me to have to find him a home, but Cow would really like best to be in a home with room, and a nice yard or even a farm. He is loyal, and with love will make a great companion.
