Meet Zeke!Zeke is a 2 year old, male, neutered, Collie mix who is ready to find his forever home!This charming young dog would make an excellent companion to the suitable family. Zeke is looking for a family with previous large breed dog experience and a household with no small children! Zeke can be unsure of strangers but tends to warm up quite quickly. Zeke is a goofy boy who often forgets how large he is and out of excitement will jump up or run full speed into you. Zeke would benefit from basic obedience training to sharpen his skills and continue working on his manners. Zeke walks well on leash and will usually stay right by your side. He enjoys spending time outdoors and loves a good game of fetch. Zeke has had a few dog friends while in the shelter and would likely do well in a household with another dog. It is unknow how Zeke will respond to cats or other small animals.While in the shelter, Zeke has been vaccinated, dewormed, neutered and microchipped. Pepper is a gorgeous grey and black mix of Australian Shepherd and Retriever. Her beauty attracts comments from everyone who meets her.  Her glossy coat is soft and luxurious. She is a three- year-old spayed female who has beauty and charm and has an affectionate and loving nature. This girl is gentle with all humans, including children, and will seek you out for cuddles and stokes with a gentle nudge of her nose. She adores being brushed and really wants little more than to curl up close against you on the sofa. Pepper bonds quickly with her people. Pepper is an active girl who appreciates daily walks and the opportunity to run in off-leash parks.  She is sociable with other dogs and can hold her own when meeting new friends. Pepper  is avidly interested in giving squirrels and chipmunks a run for their money. She is at her best when walked with a head halter which she is happy to wear. Pepper was born with epilepsy that is well-controlled by medication. Since arriving in her foster home regular medication at the correct dose has completely eliminated her seizures. She will need to be on medication for life, but it is easily added to her food and is not overly expensive.  Otherwise, she is in excellent health with no medical issues.  Pepper is fully housetrained and knows her basic commands. She is very food motivated and will stick close to your side if she knows there are treats in your pocket. Pepper is ideally suited to being the only dog in a family as she has displayed some inappropriate behaviours with the dog she currently lives with. She will need a family that has time to make sure she is walked routinely. She has not been tested with cats or other small animals, but her interest in giving chase suggests caution be exercised when introducing her to small animals. If you are looking for a gorgeous girl who will shower you with affection then Pepper would like to meet you.

Hey there, I`m Trevor! I`ve got the energy of a kid after too much candy and the loyalty of a best friend. My journey here? Well, I`m not telling ya, but let`s just say it could have involved a squirrel, or a trampoline, or maybe even a very surprised delivery person? Don`t worry, no delivery drivers were harmed in the making of this goofball. Woohoo, what an adventure this thing called life is! I love to play, cuddle, and make people laugh with my antics. I`m always up for a game of fetch or a snuggle session. I`m a big bouncy (27.5kg) boy with a heart to match. If you need a loyal companion to fill your life with laughter and love, I`m your guy!Trevor has been recently neutered, microchipped and had some vaccines. He has fully recovered from neutering and is ready to go!For more information on Trevor and our adoption process, please call West Region at 416-338-7297.
