Story
Ebbie is a 1 year old, female Border Collie mix.  She weighs approximately 34 pounds and is a busy girl; lots of energy. We rescued both Ebbie and her sister Emmie from Amarillo Animal Management and Welfare.  The dogs seem to like being together, but we may not be able to keep them together when it's time for adoption.  Ebbie is playful, but a bit reserved at times.  We don't have much history, so we don't know about house training.  We would recommend crating at night and if left alone during the day; at least until accustomed to a new home environment.  Please call the Amarillo SPCA at 806-622-0555, or visit the shelter at 11901 S. Coulter, if interested in Ebbie.

Story
Baby Girl is a Border Collie mix that was abandoned at the shelter.  We believe she is approximately 4 yrs old.  Baby Girl is a good looking girl that enjoys being around people.  She is a sweetheart and needs a forever home!  Baby Girl may require instruction in house training, as we don't know her history.  Because she is an adult female, this should not be difficult. We recommend possibly crating her at night and if left alone during the day.  If interested in Baby Girl, please call Amarillo SPCA at 806-622-0555, or visit the shelter at 11901 S. Coulter.

Story
Kylo is a 4 year old, male Border Collie mix.  Kylo was an owner surrender, due to their other dog being too aggressive with Kylo.  They didn't want Kylo to get hurt.  Kylo is a sweet boy but kind of shy and quiet at first. He does love to give kisses, if you so desired.  It's been mentioned that Kylo's nose looks sort of like a heart.  Kylo is good with cats and dogs.  He is crate trained. Okay with children and adults.  Amarillo SPCA is open Tues.-Sat. from 12 to 5. Location 11901 S. Coulter. ph. 806-622-0555.

Good with kids, Good with dogs, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Scout is a sweet girl that I have been fostering since April. She is full of energy and gets very excited to see you once she gets to know you better. She is a bit timid upon first meeting someone. I can no longer keep her because it didn’t work out at my current living situation and she is living with my parents. They are unable to keep her as she is too energetic for them. She has gotten along with the other dogs she has met, two that were larger than her and one that was much smaller. Though I would recommend anyone looking to adopt her that already has a dog, it would be best if that dog was bigger than her. She does well with kids, but younger kiddos tend to be too much for her – she doesn’t appreciate them getting in her face too much. She is a very beautiful dog, with what almost looks like natural eyeliner. She is a sweet girl and would be a great dog for someone who can give her time and love and has the energy to keep up! I do not know her breed.

Coulter. Ph: 806-622-0555.  Open Tues.-Sat. from 12 to 5 p.m.

Story
Buster appears to be a Heeler/Catahoula mix.  He is about 1 year of age.  Buster came to us from the Borger Animal Control.  He is certainly active and playful in those 'puppy' ways.  His coat coloring is somewhat cream and tan with a black mask.  Buster is a sweet dog who needs a forever home. We think Buster would be great with children and adults.  Due to having no history on Buster, we don't know about house training; may need instruction. Our shelter location is 11901 S. Coulter, open Tues.-Sat. from 12 to 5 p.m.
