Purchased as a puppy from a breeder in Santa Fe. She is mix of pure bred Australian Shepard and border collie. She is mostly an outside dog, but is house broken. Gets along with most male dogs and cats just fine. She does not get a long with my daughter's female dog, but that could be a territorial thing since my daughter moved in two years back. Loves to run and chase anything! Very playful and full of energy with a very loving demeanor. We are just too busy and have a full house where we just don't have enough space or time to spend with her. We want to find a good home where she can run and play and be loved on.

Houston, TX area: “S’mores” is AVAILABLE for adoption. She was rescued with her Mama and siblings (all have been adopted) on the side of a freeway, they were just being dumped out from a car. It was too late for a couple of them, but S’mores was one of the lucky ones we were able to save. This girl is GORGEOUS. S’mores does well with other dogs and loves to play. No kitties for this sweetie.She is spayed, current on vaccines and micro-chipped. She was born around 12-15 and is about 40 lbs. Houston, TX area: “Sugar” is in a kennel waiting for a home or foster! She has been waiting a long time for her hero! Although she goes to adoptions each week, has had thousands of shares on her photos throughout the years – she waits. She has had a couple failed tries at a home, because they weren’t patient with her. If given the chance – she would be great company for someone and as with all our pets, FPA will help in any way to ensure her success. This precious girl was born around 1-2016 and weighs about 55 lbs. She was found wandering the streets trying to fend for herself. A Good Samaritan rescued her but had no where for her to go, so she waits in boarding. This gorgeous girl, loves people and enjoys playing (especially with a big ball). She would be best as the only pet and with no young children. She enjoys running and would make an awesome jogging partner. She has had training and graduated with flying colors.
