My late husband brought home Mr. Bear when he was 6 months old, he is now 8 1/2 years old. He was raised in a loving home with an older child (11 at the time we got him) who had a female hound dog about the same age and 2 cats. Since then his daddy has passed on and he has shared a home with myself, my son, chihuahua momma and son as well as numerous cats, to include the original 2. I would describe Bear as loving, intelligent, energetic for his age, adventurous (loves to go for rides) and highly adaptable, leash trained. In the last 4 years he has moved from a home with a large yard to a camper with a smaller yard, to a camper in the wilderness and being required to move about on leash or dog run 95% of the time to residing in a kennel and being on leash all the time. Our lives and my finances have changed dramatically in the last few years. I love him, his son and my kitty like children and just want to find them homes where they can have room to love, be loved, run and play!!!!
