Story
Save this dog from her family! Lola is a beautiful, happy one-year-old border collie/lab mix. She loves belly rubs, peanut butter, tug-of-war, the snow, and going up on the mountain trails. For various reasons, we have not been able to give her the time and attention needed to train her properly. An experienced dog owner who loves herding breeds and mixes will work well for her. She's young enough that with proper training, most of her behavioral problems will resolve themselves (she likes to chew shoes and gloves). She is, however, on the nervous and hyper side of border collie, needing more socialization work than other dogs (something this socially anxious family can't do well), which is why she needs an experienced dog owner who can work with her anxiety and nipping behaviors. I love her but can't keep her for much longer.
