Boomer is very intuitive and great with children, once he knows them. Initially if they take attention away from him he is not, especially in his older age. Currently he is very caring and happy with the two young girls he has been around the last 2 years, they are 8 and 10. Their friends that he is more familiar with he is good with but others he is very protective. Will show his teeth or snap at times but not hard or aggressive just protective. He has lived with one person the majority of his life and that is just what he is used to. True man's best friend type of dog.
