Meet Neeka and Ella, a couple of sweet senior Boston Terrier sisters looking to take on their next adventure! Neeka is an outgoing, full of life leader kind of a gal with a kind loving soul to match. She isn't afraid to ask for your attention and will let out a cute little howl to get it. At 10 years old, Neeka is ready to take on anything life has to throw at her. Ella is Neeka's older and wiser sister, living life to the fullest at 12 years old! Ella is more reserved and prefers to let Neeka be the leader. Ella is a lover and happiest when she is in your lap on the couch or in bed as she loves cuddling with her people. Both Neeka and Ella do well with other dogs, cats, and kids. They travel in a car okay, but do not prefer long road trips as it seems to cause anxiety. Could you give these senior gals a home to keep living their best life in? Click here to go to the online adoption form All Kalamazoo Animal Rescue dogs & puppies are spayed or neutered prior to adoption. Dogs have been heartworm tested and if appropriate (age and time of year) all dogs and puppies are given heartworm preventative. All are given medication to rid them of roundworms and checked and treated for fleas & ear mites, if needed. Dogs and puppies are given distemper vaccines and depending on how long the pet has been in foster care, additional distemper vaccine(s) may be necessary and the expense will be incurred by the adopter. Any canine over 4 months of age is brought current on the Rabies vaccine. Additional vet care may have been provided depending on the particular animal's needs. Dogs are individually priced as above. Please note that we do not ship dogs and we cannot guarantee that a long trip to see a foster dog will result in an adoption or taking the dog home on that day. It is in the best interest of pooch and owner to enroll in an obedience class soon after adoption. After all, you have a lot to learn about your new friend. He is a shy boy when it comes to new visitors so he will need a quiet home with very little taffic. He is crate trained, up to date on shots, neutered and house trained. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. The animal may be housebroken or litter trained in the home of the foster but may relapse in your home. The animal is represented to the public as it performs in the foster home and any statements made regarding the animal are conditional to that foster home setting.
