Story
Hi there, friendly people, my name is Bernice and I’m about 3 years old, 22 lbs.  I am very sweet, love to sleep, and I have a cute (albeit loud!) snore.  I am very cuddly, and basically just always want to be in your lap.  I follow foster mom everywhere!  I am very vocal, and like to show my excitement!  I like it when foster mom takes the time to help me calm down, I just get excited!  I have two sides to playing with the other doggie here: lazy, or playful.  I do get jealous with the older dominant dog in my foster home but am fine with the young submissive one.  I love to explore around outside.  I do best if I am crated if the people are away, I can be… let’s say adventurous sometimes!  I would do fine in a house either with other dogs, or as an only doggie.  I am working on my potty training as well, and already know the doggie door!  I am great on a leash, good with dogs, and good with kids!  My favorite toys are balls and stuffed toys.  I don’t like being left alone for very long, so I would be best in a home with someone who can let me out and give me pets throughout the day.  I am a sweetie pie and will snuggle till your heart’s content!  My adoption fee is $350.If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Story
Hi! I’m Buster and I’m a 5 year old boy. The first thing you’ll notice about me? Well, I’m a chunky guy that’s full of love. I could probably stand to lose a few pounds but I’m great on a leash so let’s go for a walk! I’m great with humans of all ages. I’m also crate trained, potty trained and know how to use a doggy door. I enjoy ripping the stuffing out of toys and I love a good squeaker. I’d love to snuggle against you for couch naps and join you on car rides. I can be a bit on the nervous side. Other dogs make me a little nervous. I’d probably do best in a home by myself where I can protect my family and steal all the love. My foster family is so impressed with my manners and friendliness. I love all the members of the household equally. The best part of my day is when the kids get home from school. I shower them with kisses to show them how much I’ve missed them! Can I join your family?  My adoption fee is $300. Story
Hello everyone, my name is Oscar, and I am about 9 years old.  I am a “Velcro” baby and love to stay close to my foster mom and be near her all the time.  I am crate trained and potty trained, and I do great on a leash too!  I would be great for a senior or someone who is home a lot, because I sure to like being near my people as much as I can!  I am very gentle, but I am still playful.  I do fine in the house loose if no one is around, I am a gentleman!  I do have dry eye and use eye drops every day, just once a day, and I take them just fine!  If you have a soft and open lap for me to snuggle in and would love a companion to spend a lot of time with, I might be your perfect match!  My adoption fee is $50, but if you are a senior human, my adoption fee is waived. If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Hello!  My name is Lola, and I’m about 4 years old.  I’m not a real snuggler, but I will certainly follow you around and lay by your side.  I will sleep in my crate , but prefer to be on the bed if you let me.  Watch me when you open the door, because I am a darter!  I do like to explore and get up into things that aren’t really meant for me, like the window sill or the coffee table or the fireplace hearth.  I am a walking adventure!  I don’t know any commands yet, but I’m trying to learn ‘sit’.  I am potty trained, and I am not sure how I feel about kids or cats yet.  I do get along with other dogs, I am hanging out with four right now at my foster family’s house!  I love to eat, and I don’t bother the others while they eat.  I like to walk and do well on a leash.  Because of my current condition, I’m poked and prodded a lot so I’m hesitant to come when you call me.  But I’m looking forward to getting well, rebuilding that trust and finding a loving home!  My adoption fee is $350.  If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Story
They call me Fancy. Aren’t I a pretty girl?  I am about 2.5 years old.  I had a rough start to life and was chained to a tree before I was rescued. I am good with other dogs but big dogs make me nervous because there were big dogs where I was and they used to hurt me.  I am very athletic and can jump really high. I love to play and have a lot of energy so an active family is best for me.   My snout is a little longer so I probably have a mix somewhere in my background.  If you’re looking for a fun loving girl that’s me! Fancy’s adoption fee is $400 Thank you for your continued support in our rescue efforts! If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Hello, I am Macie Mae and I am about 9 years old.  I am a very playful little girl, who will do best in a home where I am the only pet.  I am very gentle, I can still jump high, and I am protective of my people. I do appreciate the quieter lifestyle without a lot of people coming and going, so a household without kids and other pets will be the best for me.  I am crate trained and leash trained, and like to go for walks.  My favorite toy is a little stuffed dinosaur.  I prefer not to go for many rides in the car, I get a little nervois, but at home I would love to just be with you and play with my favorite toy.  I hope to find a very loving person who will bring me to my forever home!  My adoption fee is $50, but if you are a senior human yourself, my adoption fee is waived! If you are interested in any of our Boston Terriers or would like to be eligible to adopt a Boston Terrier through our rescue in the future, please fill out an application. Story
Looking for a gentle lady to keep you company? My name is Madonna and I am a darling 10-year-old fawn Pug that is looking for a forever family. I am kinda unique in that I am missing something most people have: my eyes! I still get around just fine, but need a special family that will help me get outside to potty and be patient with me as I learn my new home. I am a loving and gentle Pug that will give kisses and roll over for belly rubs once I get to know you! I sleep soundly on my doggy bed at night. My foster family believes I should be the one and only pup in the home. Since I don’t see or hear well, other doggies make me nervous. I want all the human attention! Do you blame me?! I can’t wait to meet my forever family. I just know they’re out there, maybe you? I hope so! All you have to do is go to the DFW Pug Rescue website and fill out an application for me: MADONNA!

Story
Who’s ready for Puggle Time? My name is Munchkin and yup, I’m a puggle (that’s a mix of a pug and beagle). I’m 11 years old and looking for my forever home. I’m taller than your average pug – about “knee height” and around 24 pounds. Foster mum says I’m one happy girl. My tail is always wagging and I love to meet new people and pugs. I know how to sit for treats and although I rarely, rarely bark – when I do I sound just like a beagle (if you’ve ever heard a beagle bark you know what I mean – ha). I’m pretty active – I love to play with other dogs and I’m always up for a new adventure. I’m house trained and learned how to use the doggie door in no time at all. I lost my left eye to glaucoma and I need drops in my remaining eye to prevent any problems – but I’m really good about getting my drops. Oh one other thing, I don’t hear very well. Have you seen my adorable pictures? – I love to sleep all curled up. So if you’re looking for a new friend – pick me! Ask for Munchkin on your application today!

Story
Double your fun by adopting two Pugs rather than one! We are Dixie Belle and Preston and we are quite the 8-year-old fawn pair! My name is Dixie Belle and I’ll go first because I am the queen bee in this duo! I am beautiful and amazing of course! I do have my moments of grumpiness like when I am deprived of treats I think I deserve! I am otherwise a social and friendly gal. I will sleep in a crate, but I won’t be happy about it. I would prefer to sleep in a cozy dog bed. I am house trained with the occasional accident at night, but will happily use a “pee pad” when I can’t wait until morning. I love going on walks and do great on a leash. I am a fun gal and love stuffed toys with squeakers. I also love Preston so I’ll let him have a turn! Preston here and I am also amazing. I am happy to let Dixie Belle take the spotlight and the toys! Just give me blueberries and peanut butter and I’m a happy guy! I am house trained and walk great on a leash. I love mealtime, but might need to watch my figure! We are an amazing duo that would love to be adopted together! One Pug is great, but two Pugs would be really really great! Please fill out an application at DFW pugs.com.
