Story
Due to current travel restrictions there may be a long delay before I can get to you. Please only apply for me if you are willing to wait. Hola mis amigas! My name is Nally and I am a 1 year old boxer/pibble mix pooch from the streets of Mexico. I am fully grown at 55 pounds and stand about 25 inches tall. My rescuers say I possess model qualities with my beautiful markings, brindle patches and bright pink tongue. Not to be too bold, but I have to say I agree! Check out my smile! I was born in a home in Mexico along with my other 6 siblings. My mama dog had originally been rescued when she was pregnant from the streets of Ajijic, a teeny town in Mexico. We were very lucky that mama was taken in before she delivered our litter! Me and my bros lived a happy 4-months in our home with mama, but then our human decided to give us up. We have all been at the shelter in Mexico ever since. They take really good care of me here, (they even let me lounge on the humans’ couch, hehehe), but I really miss having a home to call my own. I have been told that I am incredibly sweet and a wee bit clumsy. I love to play and run with other dogs and I LOVE toys and soft cozy beds. I am very good with other dogs; it’s so nice to have doggy friends! Hopefully if you adopt me, we could go to a dog park and make some new canine friends, yeah? OOOH I also really love bones and other yummy treats. Check out me doing my tricks to get treats (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w9BE_5h3C6w&feature=youtu.be). Mmmmm, lots of tricks = lots of treats! I’m a pretty smart cookie. I have been spayed and vaccinated. My adoption fee of $550 includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website,  http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/  and to read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.    Information included in the profile is provided to us from the international rescuer or local fosters. Story
(Currently available to WA adopter's or Canadians willing to commit to wait til the CoVid-19 crisis has abated.) ELVISBreed: Boxer/Am BulldogAge: 4 yrsGender: m, neuteredWgt/Hgt: 70 lbs / TBA inchesEnergy level: moderate to moderate lowRelations: good with dogs, kids / cats unknownHighlights: gentle, house trained, loves cuddlesRegion: TX, USA Don't let my size throw you off, I am such a gentle boy. Just look at my transfurmation… ‘Sup people, I am ‘upposed to break into a rendition of He Ain’t Nuthin But a Hound Dog by THE Elvis Presley…as that is how I gotz my name…. but I am gonna rock the boat and not be a cliché. (if you do want to hear me speak in hound dog, try trimming my nails, I might just howl you a lil tune.) I am more feeling like my theme jam is Ariana Grande’s “Thank you, Next” song. It really hits home when she says you can’t look at life about what you’ve lost, you have to look at what you’ve gained and I’ve gained A LOT. And I am not jus talking weight. I gained a Foster Pop and family that taught me that even a lost scrawny stray guy like me deserves love. Check out my BEFORE photo to see the difference of my miraculous change, some might even call me pleasantly plump now and welp, I cannot complain. My Foster Pop has a DNA report to prove my lineage too, ain't that cool? Foster Pop says I am a goof ball, but one time auto correct changed that up to good ball, and really that was a Freudian slip, because I am indeed a GOOD and GOOF ball all rolled into one handsome enchilada… yum enchilada! Yep, ya got me at food. Wanna see a 3/4 backflip, doing the twist chacha... just offer me some food. Heehee. That should make for easy training. I am described as a gentle giant. I love lounging around with other dogs. I am kennel trained, but most of the time I sleep on the floor, with a pillow of course, now that I know about soft, I cannot get enuff. Some of my other enjoyments are hugs, cuddles, and toys. I also know the word SIT. I am potty trained too, I did have a few accidents when I first got here, but Foster Pop assured me that is fairly normal since I was a street dog before. So what’s next for me? If my current situation is any indication of how a dog’s life should really be, I am really looking furward to the future and I see lots of cronchies, cuddles and 'atta boys' in my future. Can you bring me into your family? I have been spayed/neutered, vaccinated & micro-chipped.My adoption fee is $500.00 CAD, this includes my airfare to Canada.   Disclaimer: It is important for all applicants to visit our website, http://www.lovedatlastdogrescue.ca/adopting/ and read about Loved at Last Dog Rescue.
