Story
Beacon came to us from Warren County Humane Society. While we were there to pull some poodles from their hoarding case, they gave us a tour and we saw Beacon and fell in love with him. He was laying next to his kong and they explained to us that he had been with them since July 2019, and until about 2 weeks prior he always had a kong in his mouth. They feared that he was growing depressed in the shelter environment. His big head and sad eyes broke our heart and we decided to pull him too!   Beacon is a senior boxer mix, 6-8 years old, but he acts like a 6 month old puppy. He is passionate about his toys and loves to run around with them in his mouth. He is good with kids, cats and dogs! At first he is like a bull in a China Shop as he learns his new environment, but does settle down after he barrels through a few times. Beacon is crate trained   If you are interested in meeting and/or adopting this baby, please fill out an application. Story
Our foster dogs live as family members in the foster home until chosen for adoption. You can contact her foster mom, Jessica by email at JessGrabert@hotmail.com for more information on how she can become part of your family. An update on Mercury! She is coming in as she pleases and enjoys sleeping inside. She is crate trained, and sleeps in the crate through the night with no issues. She greets strangers with a tail wag and a smile, although she still cowers briefly when they go to pet her. She still is pretty low key, and won't play fetch or run around the yard, she still makes a great companion though! Mercury is an eight year old Boxer mix. She is house trained, polite, and an all around happy. When she first came home she was very underweight, very scared, and confused. She has came an incredibly long way in the last month. She just wants to be loved. Being an older dog, her activity level is low and she is easy to please. She will do best in a home with older children. She isn't the dog for jogs, dog parks or canoe trips. But if you're looking for a dog to keep you company on a lazy Sunday when all you want to do is sit around in your pj's watching Netflix, Mercury is your girl! She prefers to eat alone and outside. She prefers to be outside. She is just now comfortable coming in and out as she pleases, but still prefers to sleep outside. She makes a commotion when I try to keep her inside. I have a two story home and she can't or won't go up the stairs, but does use the step on my back patio to get in and out. She is a little "crooked" at times, the vet believes it is vertigo. She has small bumps that are visible under the skin, those are benign. She has an unattractive skin tag on the side of her chest as well. Although she enjoys SHORT walks around the neighborhood, she runs from the leash. Her adoption fee will also include a dog license, and she is up to date on all her shots which include Bordetella and parvo/distemper. If you live within 100 miles of Cincinnati and are interested in this girl please contact her foster mom Jessica at JessGrabert@hotmail.com Don't forget to complete an adoption application. Story
It's Miller time! Miller is SO ready for a family to call his own. He came from a rural shelter in Tennessee after their recent tornado outbreak. We were so happy to give this sweet, friendly guy a second chance. Miller is young, just around 2 years old, so he will need some help with his basic obedience. He has done great so far, even walking nicely on leash! At just about 40lbs, he is a good medium sized dog. Miller has the goofiest personality once he gets to know you and will keep you laughing for days! Miller's adoption fee is $250.

Story
Hi! My name is Stark, and I am an absolute ball of fun! I have gorgeous eyes and a personality to match. I am a boxer mix, who is 1.5 years old, but I've learned how to hone my puppy energy for the right time and place. I will be whatever you want me to be - fun and playful, or laid-back and lazy. You decide and I'll follow your lead! Whether we're outside playing fetch or we're binge-watching Netflix shows, I'll be there by your side. I am house-trained! I would make the perfect companion for any human(s) looking for a best buddy, and it would be an even greater bonus have another dog-buddy to play with! Because I'm just that loving, I would thrive in a home where I do not have to be crated and am able to be around my humans as much as possible. I promise if you give me a chance, I will win you over with my goofy personality and I will always keep you laughing. Stark's adoption fee is $250.
