Story
Dallas is a tough guy to get a picture of, because he is always on the move! He absolutely loves his toys and is often unwilling to put them down even for a tasty treat! However, he has been known to melt a little bit for good scratches and seems to really enjoy affection. Dallas is a young guy who will need continued positive training to reach his full potential. He gets very excited about toys and will jump to get them. He is currently enrolled in our behavior program to start working on his basics. Dallas can be fearful and would do best with a patient owner willing to work on positive, rewarding training experiences. In previous homes, Dallas has had difficulty with housetraining (though we believe this was at least partially due to urinary crystals) so staff will go over potential strategies with any interested adopters.

Story
Bella is one of our longest term residents here at the shelter. She is very energetic and enjoys spending time running laps around the yard, squeaking her toys, and showing off her skills. She is highly food motivated (her favorites include hot dogs and bananas) and has already mastered most of her basic commands. She can be quite affectionate once she has a chance to run and has charmed many visitors with a big kiss. Bella will require continued training, so her adoption comes with a free hour consultation with a trainer. This is absolutely essential to her success; she is a very smart dog, and without structure, she tends to get into mischief.In terms of housemates, Bella has done well with adults, would be too much for small children as she is still working on polishing her manners and has shown signs of stress around kids previously. She is dog selective, so would require a meeting. She will chase cats if they run, but seems to listen when corrected, so may do well with some cats. She is housetrained and prefers to have at least three potty breaks during the day. Though Bella may be a bit of a handful, she has all the qualities of a great family member: she'll make sure you're exercising, help you keep the kitchen tidy, and never fail to make you laugh.

We adopted Dany our female boxer mix when she was 4 months old. She is now a little over 1 year. She is house trained and even knows some commands such as sit and down. She is leash trained and crate trained as well. Our family is gone for 12 hours or more at a time, which means Dany is in a crate for that length of time. We feel Dany needs a family who is home more. She loves attention and is very sweet and affectionate. She doesn’t like to be alone for long periods of time. She likes being around other dogs too. We want to find a great, loving home for her.

Zues is an amazing dog!! He has some flaws, but what dog doesn’t? He needs someone who lives alone to love him. He doesn’t do great with kids or other animals. When I got him he was severely abused. When I had him he was my cuddle buddy, always by my side, protected me, and gentle with me. He’s a one person dog. No Fee... Roscoe is approximately 7 years old. He a Lab/Boxer mix. Roscoe is a wonderful, sweet, human like dog! He just needs an adult companion that will love him as we do! Roscoe is not a fan of young kids. Roscoe is very low maintenance. Basically lays around and sleeps all day. Enjoys going out and running the back yard for a short time and really enjoys laying in the sun on a nice sunny day! If he is a good match for you please contact me! Thank you!
