Sadie is a Boxer, American Bulldog, and American Staffordshire Terrier mix (per DNA). She is about four years old and weighs 64.5#. She was returned to us because her adopter did not have a fenced yard and was not strong enough to handle her. Sadie would be a great dog for the right adopter. She knows sit and lay down and is a cuddler. She rides well in a car and loves water. She previously attended obedience training. Sadie is heartworm negative, has current vax, and is already spayed. Her adoption fee is $75 and includes the transfer of her microchip.

Honey is a pit mix around 2 years old. She's a.petite girl at only 48 lbs. Sadly this darling girl arrived to our shelter as a stray, recently having puppies. Her family never came for her but that's okay, we will find her the best forever home! Honey wants to be loved on constantly. She is good with dogs but is very intrigued by cats, so she's looking for a feline free home. She hasn't been around kiddos yet but with how sweet she is we don't see that being an issue. She had a few accidents at first but is learning to wait until she's outside. Unfortunately, Honey's previous family did not keep her updated on preventatives, so she is now heartworm positive. Please don't let that scare you off, it is treatable especially in a young dog. Do you want this sweetheart in your life forever? Apply online at www.purple-paws.org. her adopting fee is $200. I adopted Drako from KC Pet Project in Kansas City Missouri. He’s been living in my apartment with 3 other males along with myself. He turned 2 a couple of weeks ago. He does have tendencies to get mad and get aggressive with meeting new people, but he’s not always like that with new people just some new people. He’s very good with me. He’s not good with other dogs or other small animals. He will not be good with little kids either. He loves to cuddle and is a very sweet dog but has some behavior issues that i do not know how to train.
