Story
My husband and I first met Rozz in 2014 at the Moberly Animal Shelter. We instantly connected. She had been abused by a previous owner, so there were a lot of obstacles we had to overcome together, to grow to be the loving family that we became. She was 3-4yo then, and very shy. Soon after we got another dog, who helped Rozz come out of her shell. That was her baby. lol. Rozz loves to run, she loves to play hide and seek, and she absolutely loves children. It breaks my heart that we have to give her up for adoption as we've grown so close. Both mine and my husbands work schedules will no longer allow us to give our dogs the love and attention they need. And the new home we are relocating to does not allow pets of any kind. Whoever takes Rozz home will be tremendously blessed to have her in your family.

Bruno was surrendered to me on September 11th. He was picked up in Jefferson City where he was chained to a tree on a 3ft leash unable to get food or water and was flea infested something horrible. I took him to a temp foster home and he now needs to find a place by October 17th.He is house broken, stays inside unkenneled. He has chewed only one placemat and one flip flop in his temp home. He rarely barks and seems unbothered by the other dogs on the other side of the fenced yard. He has met and played with 2 female mix breed dogs and 1 male husky and did fine. He did however show more inappropriate interest in the females due to not being neutered yet. He is current on all his shots but has not been neutered as of yet, we are waiting for one of his testicals to drop. Part of the neuter has been prepaid and the remainder will be paid by me when the procedure is done. He comes with a igloo dog house, food & water bowels, a kennel (which he does not like) food, toys & treats.

Chief is a friendly, outgoing (big) lap dog! He doesn't know the meaning of personal space. Chief would do well in a home with space to wrestle or an active human to keep him occupied. He likes toys and loves treats even more! His foster says " Chief is the absolute sweetest and easy going guy! He loves everyone he meets and is always happy to just be with you! He is extremely happy go lucky and is glad to be playing fetch with you or just relaxing! Chief would do very well with other dogs, I haven't seen him interact with cats. Chief loves to play with toys and go on runs, he loves to play with other dogs and loves his treats!"

Parker is a 7 to 8 month old pit bull. He still needs his shots. He is fully potty trained but is super hyper. He loves everyone and loves to play all the time. If he is left alone he will get into trash if its out for him to do so. He is good around kids but does jump up on people etc. He needs proper training. He really just needs a good loving home and someone who is going to love him and take care of him. Please help me find him a home!

I purchased Riley from a litter of 8. The mom is pit terrier & the father is australian shepherd. Riley was the most playful out of the litter! She was the cutest too. She was born November 21st, 2018. I raised her from a puppy & as a college student. I took her everywhere with me when she was small, even to school & everyone loves her. She is very friendly. She loves to play fetch. If you throw a ball or a toy she will bring it back to you. She loves bacon & chicken treats. She loves to cuddle & rest her head on people. She is most relaxed on the couch. She does not have a bed or many toys. She will rip up pillows, stuffed animals, pet beds & toys. She will eat the plastic of her toys as well as toys that have strings. I’m looking for someone who can love Riley because she is a lover but she gets scared sometimes of loud noises or of people she isn’t familiar with she can become shy & likes to crawl under my bed.

We’ve decided that since he’s been doing fairly well in the almost year that he’s been with us, that he needs to find his own forever home. Originally we thought he may decline rather quickly after being diagnosed with spinal arachnoid diverticulum in the neck, but much to our surprise he’s doing fantastic. He has had some changes not for the better in his gait and he’s a little more off balance then he was but over all he’s great!! He has a wonderful personality and just the happiest boy you’ll ever met. Rio is ready to find that perfect home, is that home your home??
