Who is this handsome mutt?! It is Tino!Tino is young boy who we think is a boxer mix. He is super sweet and has a lot of puppy in him still. Which also means a lot of learning to do - but all the energy and eagerness to learn!Tino is good with some dogs and loves people! He would do best in a home with no kitties or small dogs though. Tino is about 40 pounds and about 1 to 2 years old. He has the cutest face and ears to die for. He has also really got his pouty face down pat! Please share Tino! He may just be a run of the mill black mutt to some, but to someone special, he will be their best friend and companion for life!

Story
Striker is a handsome 3 year old boxer mix that came to us as a puppy. He was adopted for 2 years and now needs another home. He can be leash reactive so a fenced yard and someone willing to follow a training plan will be best. Striker has been professionally trained at a board and train program in Saratoga NY and is fully obedience trained. Striker is a fun boy who loves to play fetch but then is just as happy to snuggle on the couch with his people. Striker does live with two other dogs, one he gets along great with and they love to play. The other one growls at Striker and they need to be separated which is why Striker needs a low key home with either a friendly easy going pup or just some adoring humans. Striker is up to date on all medical, potty trained and great when left loose in the house...this boy is the total package! Apply today at www.mountainrottierescue.net.

Her favorite place to be is by your side whether you are on a nice hike or snuggled on the couch. Patty is about 6-7 years old, approximately 60-65 lbs, house trained, crate trained, walks well on a leash and is very responsive. She is current on all her vaccinations, heartworm negative (she is on monthly prevention for heartworms and flea/tick), and microchipped Patty gets along with other dogs and is very social with people. HELLO POTENTIAL ADOPTERS, “PLEASE READ THIS IMPORTANT INFORMATION BELOW.” Our rescue doesn't have an actual shelter building in your area or mine. Therefore, it is not possible to meet the dogs and pups in person prior to their adoption. All of the puppies and dogs are located in either TN, Arkansas, or KY, and will come north on a USDA transport once they are adopted. Please do not send an email inquiring about a dog. Please fill out the adoption application, then when it is received questions can be answered. If I only answer emails then I can't make calls to the people that have filled out the adoption application and that is not fair to the people that read the description and instructions. Thanks so much for understanding. UPDATED NEWS: SINCE ALPHA DOG TRANSPORT CANNOT DELIVER DOGS OR PUPS INTO THE STATE OF MAINE, PLEASE CHECK www.alphadogtransport.com AND LOOK AT THEIR STOPS TO FIND THE CLOSEST PLACE FOR PICKING UP YOUR NEW FRIEND. PLEASE NOTE: We do not guarantee the breed or the size of a puppy when it reaches maturity. "MEET SWEET PEA" She is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face because she is one gentle loving girl who just wants to be loved and cared for. She is so beautiful & sweet so everyone calls her "SWEET PEA." Because she is a bit strong, we don't want her to go to a home with small children. Not that she would hurt them, but she could knock them over when she get excited. If you are looking for a faithful companion, a dog to jog with, run with, and play with, relax with, then Sweet Pea is your answer, She is located in a foster home in Tennessee and would come north upon adoption. Her adoption is $365 (all vetted with a micro chip) and $140 transport to be paid at time of pick up. for an application, please scroll down. PLEASE NOTE: We do not guarantee the breed or the size of a puppy when it reaches maturity. PLEASE READ THE STORY ABOUT CHARLEE! She was found on a cold icy day on the side of the road in TN with a broken leg. A good samaritan took her to the local police dept. and they called Ms. Sheila who is involved and runs a good rescue. After numerous tries and hundreds of dollars, they opted to give her a better quality of life and amputated her leg. Does that stop her from being a sweet, lovable girl? No, it does not. Charlee gets along great with her foster buddies and is just waiting for her forever home. Her adoption is $375 (all vetted with a microchip) and $140 transport to be paid to him at time of pick up.
