ADOPTION FEE $200.00MICROCHIP # 982126054624536ARRIVAL DATE: 01/18/2024WEIGHT 45 lbs.Meet Mocha!Mocha arrived at our facility originally in September 2019. She was quickly adopted and on her way to her new home. Unfortunately, Mocha tends to not want to share her space with other animals. Mocha and her siblings in her previous home would get in scuffs often, as she did not want to share. Since arriving back at the shelter she is having a hard time adjusting. She is friendly and such a sweetheart, but right now she is shy and scared being in this type of environment again. She does do well in play groups here at the shelter but enjoys one on one time with people. Mocha will need to go to a home without any other animals, but could likely meet other dogs outside of the home. We believe she will be a loyal pup to her next family! She loves to be with people and nothing makes her happier than simply being next to you.Stop by SafeHaven and meet Mocha today!

Story
Hi, I'm Bailey!Do you like other dogs? I have not been doing well with other dogs and need to be in the only dog in the home at this time. What do you think about cats? I should not live with cats.So how do you feel about kids? I don't have a history with kids but am very sweet to the adults I've met so it is expected I will do well with dog savvy children. What's your ideal home like? I'm an active dog and would like a home where I can get lots of love and exercise. I can be nervous of new things at first but am very brave and warm up nicely after a few minutes. What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? I have very good house manners and am just the nicest girl you could ever meet! I'm also a volunteer favorite and here's what they had to say about me:"She's a sweetie. Loves butt scritches a lot. When she's being petted she rubs up on your legs.""Once you get past her barking and anxious energy, Bailey is the sweetest girl. She'll just lay with her head on your lap, lets out a big sigh and falls asleep. She will also roll over and let you rub her belly and give you the occasional kiss. Such a lover if you put in the time!" **Is there anything else we should know about you? I'm about 5 years old and weigh between 60-70 bounds. I do have a medical waiver that talks about a few lumps and my teeth. It's nothing crazy, just some typical stuff that happens as you get older as a dog. Staff will tell you all about it when you come to see me. My adoption fee has be sponsored and is now $125!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I'm looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Hi, I'm Thai! * I am a hidden gem and am not viewable on the adoption floor. Ask staff to meet me!*Do you like other dogs? I have been uncertain of how to react to other dogs. I would be happiest as the only dog in the home at this time until I can get positive training and careful socialization with dogs. What do you think about cats? I have no history with cats, and it is not recommended that I go home with cats at this time.So how do you feel about kids? I would prefer an adult only home. What's your ideal home like? I would like to go to a quiet home with a family who will help me build confidence, and give me the time and space to settle in an warm up. I am extremely fearful of new things and people and will need a safe space to settle in and open up.What is it that staff and volunteers love about you? Staff love how sweet I can be once I am comfortable. I'm so happy to see my people, and I give excellent smooches. Is there anything else we should know about you? I am about 1 year old and I weigh between 50 and 60 pounds. I have a behavior waiver that staff will be happy to discuss with you when you come to meet me. You will need to meet me multiple times before I will be comfortable enough to go home with you.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. Story
The other half of the “Golden Girls” duo, Rose has the most heart warming friendship with her partner in crime Dorothy. Though this gal is a senior, her mobility is still quite good. She enjoys walks with her fellow seniors and loves to stop along the way to nibble grass or watch squirrels. She loves snuggling up with Dorothy and is content to hang out wherever there’s a comfy spot to lay down. She’s great during car rides especially if her gal Dorothy is with her, they’ll both curl up in the backseat and snooze. Rose is as sweet as they come and this duo still has a lot of life and love to share with a special forever family of their own. Email or visit our website to submit an application!
