Story
Hi there! My name is Ailani, and I'm a sweet, playful brindle and white 70-pound Boxer mix gal with a goofy personality plus who was born in March 2017. My family considers me an over-sized lap dog because in my downtime, they can usually find me cuddled up with my head in someone's lap. I spend a lot of time with my 7-year-old human brother, with whom I've grown up since I was a puppy, and even sleep at the end of his bed. I'm a pretty laid-back girl, and 95% of the time I sleep on my back with my legs' sticking straight up in the air.
I'm a great family dog who just loves children. When family and friends come over, I play the "hostess with the most-ess" by personally greeting everyone with a body wag. That said, I'm also very protective of my family's home, so I cautiously watch outside for any danger. I also get along with cats as well as the male dog of the family.
True confessions, I have a problem with the senior female dog in my home, and my aggression toward her is the reason my family has made the difficult decision to find me a new home. They've tried crating and rotating us as well as working with an animal behaviorist, and nothing has offered a satisfactory solution.
I have a very animated personality and am definitely a human's best friend. My family is convinced that I would excel in a home bustling with 2-legged and 4-legged critters but where I'm the only dog.
