Story
Georgia is a 5yr old boxer mix. She is spayed, up to date on shots and microchipped. She is loyal, cuddly, and sassy. When introduced properly, she does well with other dogs, and sometimes cats. She has done really good with a couple of kids, but is showing signs of aggression with our new baby, and our neighbor kids. So she would do best in a home with no kids to be safe. She has an unknown past from when she was a puppy to 2yr old. She has improved a lot since we first adopted her three years ago, but still has some aggressive tendencies towards strangers and new dogs. With the right training, and attention she could continue to improve. There was an incident almost a year ago, where our neighbor came into our backyard without permission or warning and Georgia bit her on the leg, broke the skin and drew blood. She was quarantined and we've done some training since then but she is still very protective. We love her more than life, but can't risk her biting our baby or another kid.

Story
I adopted Brady from a rescue in Florida as a puppy. He has been with my his whole life but unfortunately I’ll have to rehome him due to financial and living situations. He loves to be outdoors and has plenty of energy, but also loves to cuddle and relax. He’s very friendly and loving. He is about 4 years old. I’m unsure about his breed, but it looks like he has some boxer in him. He is such an amazing dog/companion and I really want to find him a great home.

Meet handsome Cassius, a 1 year old male boxer.  He is a very dark grey color that almost looks black in some lights, and dark brown in others, with a white chest.  He is very tall with long legs.  He loves to play, and is just a goofy, friendly all around good guy.  He is new to Four Paws so we will update as we get to know him better.  He seems to be good with other dogs.  We don't know if he is house trained or how he is with cats. Cassius is looking for a forever family to call his own. His adoption fee is $200, which includes neuter surgery and vaccinations (parvo/distemper and rabies.) Sweet Tita and her owner loved to take walks around Centennial park and to their local Petco for groomings. While on a walk to Petco in July of 2019, Tita and her owner were struck by a driver with a suspended license. Immediately after the accident, Tita ran to Petco and was able to find help for her owner. Tita had a few scrapes but thankfully escaped the incident with few to no injuries. Her owner, however, has been on a long road to recovery and is learning to swallow, speak, and walk again. It is with an extremely heavy heart that we have to rehome Tita as her owner is no longer able to give Tita the care she needs. Tita has been fully trained but may need a refresher since her owner has been bed-bound for the last six months. Tita can sit and shake and would make a wonderful running companion. She loves sneaking in between your legs from behind as a little, 'hello!', and communicates in groans that are just so funny!

OBSERVED BY SHELTER STAFF: Roscoe is a bit shy when meeting new people, but warms up quickly. If you are looking for a guard dog, Roscoe fits the bill – he looks intimidating behind a barrier, but is sweet once he knows you. He is not a fan of children, fast movement or loud noises. He will sit at your feet and paw at you for more attention. The best home for Roscoe would be one that has a yard, adults and a person to reassure him that everything is okay if he gets scared/nervous. He needs some work not pulling on the leash when going for walks, but appears house trained and knows the sit and shake commands. He appears to like toys, but is a little too nervous here to relax enough to play with him. Shelter life is hard for him, so the sooner he can be adopted, the better. Weighs 87 pounds; $25 to adopt.
