Story
ALL our cats and dogs are in the NY area but can be adopted out of state to the purrfect furever home.  In some cases, we can help transport.  Zani's al fresco Summer Adoptions  follow us on FB to find us this summer as we will try new locations to meet the needs of NYC and support the little stores:)     Stunning baby girl, Mona Lisa is veryyyyyyyyy unique!  Shaved down so we are waiting til she has her full coat but oh so pretty!  She is still a baby at 8mo, likes other cats so absolutely must go home to a resident age appropriate feline or with one of her friends in foster. She was dumped in a friend of a friend's neighborhood:( very affectionate and great with dogs too. Arrived from Kuwait Dec 17 and taking apps now.   Facebook: Zani's Furry Friends ZFF (weekly adoption event info posted there) Twitter: zanisff  Instagram: zanisfurryfriends   Cats are spayed/neutered, UTD on age appropriate vaccines, Rabies vaxed, and microchipped.  All are in the NY/NJ area but we will adopt out of state to the purrfect home and in some cases, we can arrange transport.  Please go to our site   https://zanisfurryfriends.org   fill out an application and return to  cats@zanisfurryfriends.org   Please note: kittens must be adopted in pairs or to households with age appropriate cat(s) to ensure proper socialization and companionship. NO exceptions! If you would prefer a solo cat, we would be happy to recommend those cats who would do best as solo cats. All our cats are tested for feline leukemia and FIV, FVRCP and Rabies vaxed and also microchipped.   Many of us (cats/dogs) will be on display on Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent.  Please ask by writing us at cats@zanisfurryfriends.org and following us on FB. If you are seriously interested in adopting one of us in particular, please fill out an application early Friday so that we can be sure to be there. Otherwise we decide based on other variables. Usually we are in our foster homes so this is a bit more stressful and a slightly artificial environment but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes too. Please come! And if you can't adopt, foster or volunteer, you can always donate! If you want to know about cats/dogs specifically being shown at our adoption locations, please email us info@zanisfurryfriends.org closer to the date so we know your interest and will make every effort to have that pet at the event or let you know how and where you can meet.  It is extemely helpful and speeds up adoption if the application is filled out prior to visiting us so please do that before coming to our weekend events. Our weekend locations are: Saturdays or Sundays, weather dependent  Follow us on FB, Zani's Furry Friends ZFF, for latest updates. Usually we are in our foster homes so all this is a bit more stressful but we do want to be seen and find our furever homes. Please come! And if you can't adopt, maybe you can foster or volunteer. And you can always donate:) Cats and Dogs are spayed/neutered, UTD w/ all age appropriate shots and microchipped. Cats are feline combo tested for FIV/FeLV; dogs are heartworm tested and rabies vax'd, (NOT lyme vaxed but we seriously recommend it); rabbits are spayed/neutered. Please fill out an application and email to: For Cats: cats@zanisfurryfriends.org For Dogs: dogs@zanisfurryfriends.org For Rabbits: nyc.acc.rabbits@gmail.com. Please visit our website zanisfurryfriends.org.

Story
Zozo has a brindle patterned coat dilute calico markings.  She is part of a group of rescued kittens that we have been working on helping since early spring.  Like her siblings, she is very friendly, and likes other cats.  She is also a calm and loving girl who will want to share her humans bed with them.  Zozo is fully vaccinated, has a registered microchip, was treated for fleas, worms, ear mites, is negative for FIV/FELV, and has a rabies titre certificate from a Government Laboratory in Egypt done prior to her leaving for the USA.  Our adoptions are on a cost recovery basis and we exist on generous donations from the public and adopters.  All donations are tax  pdeductible per the USA law as we are a registered 501c3 https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally-occurring, small, spotted cats in the world. Adoptions are on a cost-recovery basis and by an approved application.   NVEcats aims to increase education in Egypt and around the world about these magnificent and intelligent cats. Cats and kittens are not adopted out on a “first-come, first-serve” basis. We choose to match our applicant and cats based on what we deem as best suited for that particular cat or kitten. ##486653##

Folla is part of a large group of kittens who were born in a home and are very friendly to other cats and their beloved human!  She is negative for FIV/FELV, treated for fleas, worms, and ear mites, is spayed, has a registered microchip,  is fully vaccinated, and has had a rabies titre done prior to her travel from Egypt to the USA.  Our adoptions are on a cost recovery basis and we exist on the generous donations from the public and adopters to continue our mission of helping the street cats of Egypt and provide medical supplies and education to the Veterinarians who treat the street animals.  Adopters who are looking to adopt an exotic cat but don't want to go to a breeder are always welcome! https://www.petstablished.com/adoption_form/11596/generic Native Mau Cats of Egypt are the oldest known descendants of Egyptian domesticated cats (which have provided a partial foundation for the recent Egyptian Mau cat breed), and they are one of only a few naturally-occurring, small, spotted cats in the world.
