Cooper is a stunning Blue Point British Shorthair mix, about 2 years old. His personality is as big as his size, and he is a BIG boy. He tolerates other cats as long as he can be the alpha. He really would prefer to be the only cat. He is a great boy with a really outgoing personality. His coat is thick and plush, his eyes are blue as the sky. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. Special prices are made for buddy adoptions.

Our goal is to have all animals spayed/neutered, vaccinated (to include rabies), and micro-chipped at time of adoption. Pre-adoption prior to complete vetting possible with deposit. Out-of-state adoptions available with additional transport fee to certain states, mainly northeast but some along the way and some Midwest states as well.

Live Oak Brown is a gorgeous female tabby that's very curious, but likes to lay on a perch up high. She's hoping to find a home with owners that like to snuggle.
