Cooper is a stunning Blue Point British Shorthair mix, about 2 years old. His personality is as big as his size, and he is a BIG boy. He tolerates other cats as long as he can be the alpha. He really would prefer to be the only cat. He is a great boy with a really outgoing personality. His coat is thick and plush, his eyes are blue as the sky. Sorry, we do not ship our cats or provide any transportation. All potential adopters should reside in Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, New Mexico, or Louisiana. We will not adopt outside of those states. Who We Are: We are a private rescue and privately funded. WE ARE NOT A SHELTER, BUT A RESCUE. A rescue is a PRIVATE HOME and not a public place to visit. Adopters must make appointments prior to visiting foster homes. All of our cats are spayed/neutered, FIV/FELV tested, wormed, de-fleaed, and vaccinated prior to adoption. Adoption Process: We require all potential adopters to fill out an adoption application prior to setting up an appointment to visit with the cat(s). We conduct veterinary and personal reference checks during the application approval process. If you call or email us, we will provide you with an application via email. YOUNG CAT COMPANION POLICY: Unless otherwise indicated, all cats under the age of 3 must go into a home with another cat/kitten under the age of three or be adopted with a buddy. Ragdolls and Maine Coons are physically slow to mature, benefit greatly from the social interactions with another cat and often long for the companionship. Obviously, some young adults not raised around other cats or with more independent personalities may be exceptions to those rules, but that is up to the discretion of the Rescue to assess that need and is not negotiable. pitz is a good size 3 yr old girl who came to us with a litter of kittens and she was very protective over them, hence the name "SpitFire". All her kittens tested negative for FIV and then she mothered two more orphan litters and they all tested negative for the virus. She has come to be a loving kitty, especially when her foster mom goes to bed and that is her cuddle time. She does have an outdoor cattery that she may go out to and she enjoys that as well. She is FIV positive, but she does not need anything different from any other healthy cat, good food, good home and good care. Tabby is an armful of kitty, but maybe because of her weight, she prefers a belly rub to being held. She's sweet and will sleep with her human and loves to be in the yard when you are out there. She was born in the spring of 2019. She is felv/fiv negative and her adoption donation is $50 which is reduced for our Spring special. This guy and his siblings were dumped at a fast food restaurant in Burleson, left to find their own food and shelter. The weather was cold and they were scared. We rescued them and gave them a safe place to live, toys to play with and a warm bed to sleep in. They adjusted to their new environment so well, they are so social and happy. He is the last man standing, all of his siblings have been adopted. He is such a lovable, sweet hearted boy. He will make a perfect companion to a family with children of any age. He is fully vetted and ready to find their very own family to live out.

Gizmo is an extremely affectionate cat. He just wants a quiet place to sleep and snuggle. He loves water! He is good with kids and dogs, however he needs peace and quiet, so if the kids are young and the dogs are hyper then it will not be a good combo. He just needs a good home and a place where he can love and be loved. I wish I could keep him!
