Phoenix came into our lives seven years ago as a puppy. She is a sweet and caring dog who needs a lot of exercise and attention to detail. She loves to snuggle and is very obedient.Would be best in a home without other dogs or pets as she has strong pet anxiety.

Clover is 2 years old. We adopted her from a shelter when she was 1. She had been found chained up for so long her collar had grown into her and had to be cut off. She was scared of everyone and everything. She is now full of joy and loves to run jump and have fun. She can still be a little skiddish if she doesn’t know what is going on or the environment. Great with kids and other dogs! Never really been around cats.

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Adoption Application Poor Shiloh has had such a rough life. He was hit by a car when he was younger (fully recovered) but he still acts out trying to catch cars as they pass by when he's out on walks. His owner recently died and then his brother was adopted. Shiloh is such a good boy once he knows you. We were told he doesn't like men but he has done ok with some. He does take a few minutes to warm up, once he does, he's a friend for life. He LOVES to play and has a lot of love to give a family. He will chase squirrels in the back yard for hours too. He is dog friendly as well. Because he is fearful of new people, he will not be attending most of our events. Animal Friends - VA will be at the Potomac Mills PetSmart located at 13337 Worth Avenue, Woodbridge VA 22192 on Sundays from 1230 - 300 and the Lorton PetValu on the 2nd Saturday of each month. PetValu is located at 9427 Lorton Market St LortonVA from 12-2. Shiloh probably won't attend the events, but we can arrange a meet and greet after completing our online application at animalfriendsva.org.
