Story
For more information about adopting this animal from us, please click here. Hi there! The name's Mojo and I'm a big hunk of love! I arrived at the shelter after being surrendered to a local pound. After learning about my past, the people here have found that I'm a really nice boy, but I'm a bit leery of big men (I do warm up, though). I, however, am very much a ladies man and I love to cuddle. It turns out, cats are a bit ''too'' interesting for me, so I'm not allowed to live with any. I do have some arthritis, so having excitable or playful dogs or children around me does stress me a bit and cause me to worry that they'll do something that might cause me pain. However, I would be fine with calmer dogs, who just want to hang out. Of course, I'm fine hanging out with just my humans too. I guess you could call me a couch potato, because that's kind of what I am. And I LOVE car rides, so much so, that the staff has a hard time getting me to come out of the van here. If you think I might be a good fit for you, please get a hold of my people!..All animals are current on vaccinations and microchipped prior to adoption. All cats and kittens are Feline Leukemia and FIV tested. All dogs and puppies 6 months and older are heartworm tested. All animals 6 months and older are spayed/neutered prior to adoption. Any kittens/puppies will have refundable spay/neuter deposits included in their adoption fee; spaying/neutering will be the responsibility of the adopter and a refund will be issued upon proof of the surgery being completed by the adopter's veterinarian of choice...Kitten adoption fees are $150 (includes a $40 refundable spay/neuter deposit). Cat adoption fees are $120, unless otherwise noted. Dog adoption fees may vary between $200-250. Puppies adoption fees may vary between $300-350 (includes a $100 refundable spay/neuter deposit). All adoption fees are taxable (tax is not included in the prices listed above)...''Sponsored'' means that a donor has covered a portion of the adoption fee for that animal. ''Fully sponsored'' means that a donor has paid the full adoption fee for the animal.
