Story
We came across Summer on a visit to South Texas 2 years ago. She was very skiddish and timid roaming the streets of a friend's neighborhood. Summer allowed us to take her in and ride home to San Antonio. She did very well in the car, just a little shaky. After about a month and half of living with us, Summer surprised us with puppies! Thankfully, we had a few close friends looking for a new fur babies and all 4 puppies found forever homes. Summer has done very well living with my 12 year old and I and adjusting to her new life. We do wish we could do more for her. She loves walks and just sitting in your lap and getting attention all day. Our lifestyle has changed a bit in the past 2 years and we would love for her to go to a home that can give her the extra attention she loves. She's the only pet in our home but does do well with short visits with other dogs. She has not had any experience with younger kids or cats, so we are unsure how she would do.
