Story
Baxter is a wonderful dog. I have been relocated to Louisiana and am stationed in a place that is not pet friendly. I need to re-home baxter as soon as I can. He is a wonderful dog, well trained/house trained, and a great comfort to have around. He is a good dog that is good at alerting when someone is near the house. He is very friendly with adults, children, and other animals. We love him so much but we cannot take him with us unfortunately.

Story
This is Bandit - so named because he steals hearts! =) This cute little guy weighs in at about 11 pounds and is approximately 10 months old. Of course, being a young Terrier, he is inquisitive, energetic, and comical. He is playful and good with other dogs and he loves playing with his toys. He's not really a "lap dog;" but, he is affectionate and will cuddle for naps and at night in bed. He loves people and wants ALL the attention; but, he is not destructive as in chewing furniture, electrical cords, or shoes. However, he will grab a napkin from the end table and shred it like a pro! He has been fully vetted, neutered, had his dew claws removed (they were dangerously floppy), and microchipped. He tested Negative for heartworms and has been on regular heartworm prevention since coming into our Program. If you would like Bandit to be your own, please apply for him today by completing the online pet adoption application you will find in the upper left portion of the homepage of our website: www.BaytownHumaneSociety.org He will steal your heart, for sure! P.S. He looks big compared to the Chihuahua in the photo..but, the Chi is barely 4 pounds! =)

Story
Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comMoreno Blue Too, petite, sweet...cuddle bug extraordinaire! Called MB or EM-bee.  She loves snuggles, seeking pets/lovies from her foster folk. She dances with excitement around her mentor dogs and is learning how to play. While not a hunter herself, she is being coached in the fine art of stalking lizards and birds, however, her quick movements tend to warn them away. Anything or anyone new is met with a step back and big-eyed evaluation, but Em-bee has learned that cold bits of watermelon are delicious and new people can bring pets, treats and a lap to snuggle in. She is less reticent to try “new” than she was on arrival. She knew no commands at first but has quickly mastered SIT and COME. She is very smart and wants very much to please.  Moreno Blue Too is a true companion...petite and precious!FOR LOTS MORE INFORMATION ON Moreno Blue Too ENTER OR COPY THIS LINK ONTO YOUR WEB BROWSER:https://www.cairnrescue.com/store/dogs/ Moreno Blue Too s being fostered in Peoria, AZ, in a PRIVATE FOSTER HOME but we allow our dogs to be adopted out all over the United States and Canada!LEARN OUR 'ADOPTION FAQS': Any questions that you may have about our adoption process, fees, transporting a dog, and our policy not to adopt to families with small children, can be answered at our main website or going directly to this link: https://www.cairnrescue.com/service/faq/ IT IS RECOMMENDED THAT YOU READ THE FAQ'S BEFORE COMPLETING AN APPLICATION. Story
Col. Potter Cairn Terrier Rescue www.cairnrescue.comFoster mom says I am ready to be released to a unsuspecting world. She says my button eyes will have people mesmerized. I am a perky 13 year old who loves to go for walks and cuddle. I am opinionated and will let you know when the bowl isn't getting filled fast enough, or I think cuddles are in order and you need to take a break from what you are doing. I will also let you know how happy I am that you are home. I will prance, grin, growl, and bark and my tail will go a mile a minute. I love getting my ears rubbed and my back end scratched. Story
Evangeline is a one year old Cairn Terrier Blend. We are guessing she’s a French Bull Dog blend too, but like with many rescue dogs — it’s our best guess! We aren’t guessing when we say Evangeline is sure to steal your heart. She’s a sweetheart, a dog that loves people, other dogs and her toys!! Evangeline is accepting applications for families that are fun loving, and interested in snuggling. No young children please. www.caninesoulmates.org About Canine Soulmates Rescue: Our adoption fee is $250 for adults, $300 for puppies. The adoption fee includes having your dog fully vetted -- spay/neuter, vaccinations, rabies shot, heartworm testing and on monthly heartworm preventative. All dogs are microchipped, and CSR covers the cost of microchip registration for the first year. CSR adopts only to adopters in the Dallas/Fort Worth metro area. We require a home check for all of our adopters, and renters must have permission to add a dog to their lease agreement and have paid any necessary pet deposit. As a general rule, we do not adopt large breed dogs or puppies to apartment homes. Veterinary or personal references are checked. To start the process for exploring adoption of your new best friend, please complete a pre-adoption application at www.caninesoulmates.org. Thank you for your interest in our rescue dogs!
