Hi, I'm Dellie.  I got my name because I was found in the parking lot of Jason's Deli in Pensacola. I am small for my age (just over 4 pounds) but I can hold my own with the bigger cats! I love to run and play with friendly cats.  While I need the love of my person, I’m not a lap cat just yet .   O ne of my favorite toys is my toy mouse, especially putting it into my water bowl!   I am ready for a forever home.  Are you ready to be my forever person? Please consider sponsoring a cat for a little as $10 a month you can help us help more animals in need. Momma Kitty (MK)  was an abandon Cat that lived around an elderly lady who provide her food and water. When it was obvious that she was going to be a Mother the elderly lady took MK into her home until the kittens were born. MK and her litter were given to a foster  family until they can be adopted. MK has been an outside cat since she was abandoned. Since the first of April 2019 she has lived inside and is litter box trained. MK is a great Mom. She loves her kittens and takes very good care of them. She spends most of the day watching them.  MK likes to talk with people. She is generally quiet but if you talk to her she will talk back to you. Momma Kitty (MK) adoption fee is $65.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery that is already done. All kitties are litterbox trained. Story
Baby was rescued by a wonderful woman when she was found as an abandoned baby in a neighbors yard.  She found a permanent home with her rescuer, and was well loved and cared for.  Unfortunately, Baby's mom passed away, and she is now in the care of a foster until she can find a new permanent home.  Baby has the most adorable and expressive face that just begs to be cuddled Baby is an intelligent little lady and nothing slows her down from her playing, especially with the laser light.  She loves to play with her small stuffed mouse and acts very proud when she "captures her prey."  She will at times even bring you a toy to engage you in play.  When she is not playing she loves to sit on her windowsill and watch the world outside.  Baby does exceptionally well with other cats, but she loves her humans and will gently give nose kisses, and loves to be held.  Her foster says she loves to sit behind her and put her cheek against her own.   While she is very loving to everyone, she seems to prefer female companionship and will quickly bond with a female friend.  One of her favorite places to lay is snuggled up on her person's shoulder, buried in their hair.  She loves sleeping with her foster at night with her head propped up on her shoulder, arm or leg. Baby is FIV+, and is a special needs adoption. She has a cleft palate which has been surgically repaired as much as possible.  She will continue to have sinus congestion and noisy breathing, however that quiets significantly when she is sleeping.  She requires daily medication, but is no problem to medicate.   Baby's condition  shouldn't stop her from living a long and happy life.  Won't you give Baby a new, loving home? Adoption fee is $75.00 which includes up-to-date shots, FeLV test (negative), microchip, and spay surgery.  Prior to meeting or adopting any of our wonderful kitties, we ask that you please fill out our online Cat Adoption Application on our website aaFlorida.org.  There is a link on the top of the home page.
