Story
I found Indigo as a kitten in the streets, she was about 2 months old. I’ve had her ever since. She is sensitive to sudden change or loud noises. She is great in different environments with children or pets. She is not an out door cat and is actually afraid of being outside. She is house broken. Sweetest cat and very affectionate. It brakes my heart to even write this but my husband and I have just realized our youngest daughter is braking out in hives from the cat fur. We have tried to keep her out the bedrooms but the rash has not go away for 3 months. So this is why I am here. I’m hoping to find a stable family who plan on keeping her forever. Please feel free to text me (xxx) xxx-xxxx

Story
This beautiful pair, Apricot & Tucker are bonded siblings (brother and sister) and should go together. They are very sweet yet very shy.  They were adopted as kittens then left behind and without positive human interaction for a long time.  They are currently living with other cats and a small dog, and seem to be having a great time.  They just love other cats and were accepted nicely into the fold.  They need lots of PLT (Patience, Love and Time), but they are coming out of their shells and becoming more trusting and adapting well to a lively home.   They love to play interactively with people, with a mouse on the string, a laser pointer or even just a shoe string.  The more you play with them, the more comfortable they get with you.  They both come around at meal time and are very sweet and interactive, rubbing on their foster mom's legs, chirping meows of encouragement to 'hurry up' and letting her pet them.  Tucker is the brave one of the pair.  He will be the first one to venture out and explore a new room or environment.     Tucker has become very comfortable around the house, and likes to be petted all the time.   Food and play are very good motivators for him.  He can be heard all over the house as he loves to sing and has a very melodic trill.  Whenever his foster mom is in the kitchen, Tucker is right there, talking to her, trying to negotiate a snack.  She usually can't resist his charms. Beautiful, soft Apricot is the shrinking violet of the pair.  She does not take well to change but is a trooper and eventually acclimates to new surroundings.   She loves to play and skitter around the house, she gives her brother the most adorable head butts (he is her anchor) and will allow you to pet her when she's waiting for food, eating or sleeping.   She is even rubbing on her foster mom's legs while she is preparing their meals.   Ironically, she is the dominant of the pair, and asserts her wishes upon Tucker by head butting him or checking him out of the way.  Tucker is so agreeable that he just stands there and lets her walk all over him. Both cats are docile and sweet. T hey both follow their foster mom from room to room so they are definitely interested in having human companionship.  They are a work-in-progress, but each day they show improvement and get more comfortable and trusting.    They were born around April 2017 and are fixed, up-to-date on shots and tested neg for FIV/FELV. If you're interested in adopting this sweet pair please fill out an application at fosterandforever.org.* Our volunteers provide quick response times. *Long Term Foster/Multiple Cat-Reduced Adoption Fee

Story
Matilda is the mother of Buzzbee. She's barely a year old. She's got lime green eyes and a patchwork of colors and patterns, featuring a curious tiger-striped orange tail. Matty is a bit hesitant with strangers, but she will warm up. She loves to dance when it's meal time and she loves to watch bird videos on youtube. Matty is healthy and adorable, loves to play and chat. Matilda's adoption fee with her son Buzzbee is FREE until 2/14/2020 (to any approved applicant over 25). If you'd like to know more about Matilda, visit our web site at http://www.kittenassociates.org where you can fill out a Pre-Adoption Application you'll find on our Adopt Page.

Story
We used to describe Lorraine as being best as a barn cat due to her unsocialized nature, but she has come around a bit after being treated for a tumor in her ear. The tumor was removed with surgery, and the required ongoing medical care helped her come around and trust people more than she used to! Lorraine would still require a quiet home where it was understood that she is an independent kitty who may never be a cuddler. Come meet Lorraine!
