We list the pet’s breed as the one that best matches the physical appearance, and the pet may also be listed as a mix when it’s a purebred. Sophie is a sweetheart. She loves to snuggle and is very affectionate. She is also very playful. She and her brother, Sky are very close and need to stay together, but he’s awesome too! They need a home that provides an outdoor space for them to explore and play in but a home environment where they can bond with their owners. They are very tolerant and could be with small children or the disabled. When I am sad or sick Sophie stays by my side and makes sure I’m okay. I love her and will miss her but I feel she needs a home where she can be outside and where the owners are around more since I travel for work every week.

Calpurnia is such a sweet and petite girl!  She would love nothing more than to soak up all the attention from the humans here at the shelter.  As soon as we walk in to do chores in her room, she's right there, begging for you to pet her.  She gets along with most everyone in her room and just loves people!  We think she'll make an excellent companion for just about anybody, there doesn't seem to be anyone she doesn't like.  Although she would love all the attention for herself, she does share with her roommates pretty well and can sometimes be seen cuddling with them.  Are you her new forever person? Calpurnia is up to date on vaccinations, spayed, and micro chipped.   Please go to our website at www.emmetcountyanimalshelter.org to fill out the Cat Adoption Application.  All cat adoption fees are free will for approved applicants.
