Petunia's approximate birthdate is June 04, 2015. She is spayed, vaccinated, and she has tested negative for FIV/FELV. She also has a registered microchip. Petunia came in to rescue as part of relocation of outdoor cats when they were no longer welcome on the property. Some of these cats were social cats that had previously lived in a home. Most were scared and just needed time to come around. Petunia was one of those cats. She is still scared with sudden movements but will seek attention when she feels safe. She would do best in a home with a predictable routine and another friendly cat to help build her confidence and show her the way. She will make a great companion for the right person who wants to give a cat a chance at living a safe and loved life. We are looking to re-home our beautiful, sweet cat Callie. She has been a wonderful cat for the last five years but we have since found out our 11 year old has developed a serious allergy to cats :( We have had Callie since she was a kitten and she has always been wonderful. Pauline's is a gorgeous girl with unique tabby calico markings. She is a great cat who enjoys to do typical cat things like: bat around toys, watch the outside critters, play with her humans, wreak havoc on the scratching posts and stalk bugs in the basement. She loves people and snuggling. She can be quite 'chatty' and talks back when you talk to her. She has not lived with children, so she can be a bit skittish around kids. She is passionate about food so does not free feed very well. She is currently using an auto-feeder; but would do great with scheduled feedings. She would be best in a home with older or no children as an only cat. She can be playful and enjoys swatting at her toys. She has never lived with other animals or children, so we are unsure how she would do with either. *Frannie has a medical condition that requires her to take daily meds 2x daily. She take this medication well in her food.
