Calico kittens & cats in Sedalia, Missouri

My cats are sisters born in September of 2018. They were born and lived outside at my mother's home until they were 8 weeks old. She lives in the country and strays are attracted to her house. I had never owned cats, I'm a dog person, but thought I would be able to care for and love the kittens. I am wanting to rehome them because they scratch everything. I have numerous scratching posts throughout the house that they use, but they also choose to scratch the carpet and furniture. I do not have the heart to declaw them but do not have the time or patience to work with them on this. They are very loving cats. They do well with my dog but take time to warm up to other dogs. Delilah is more calm and patient with children. Claire gets nervous and skittish and hides when children are around. They have always used the litterbox. At one point their urine smelled badly of ammonia and I switched them to iams urinary tract food and I've had no problems since.

He is still a kitten not sure the age was given to me from a family member really rambunctious but he is young lovable

My name is Herman. I am fine, brown tabby 9 years old. I regret my present guardian must give me up due to added family responsibilities in her life that prevent her from keeping me. I am very friendly and affectionate, mostly on my terms but I don’t let it get in the way of being a gentle, loving companion. I came from an abusive home when I was young so I don’t generally trust everybody or strange situations at first but adapt well if given the chance. I am cautious about being held, which comes from my early childhood experiences. I do like good rubs and other cat favors. I am just a cautious guy with a big heart. Hermann is an indoor/outdoor cat and does well at that in a safe neighborhood environment. He was rescued from the Sedalia Animal Shelter when they were still euthanizing animals if they are not adopted in a timely manner. He is in excellent health. He has been fully vet’d. He has been neutered, has had all his shots, has an implanted identification micro chip and has all claws. Hermann would be a wonderful addition to your family.
