Story
Fluffy is around two years old. When she was a kitten - we had a dog in our home. She has lived with other cats before as well - I took in my Mother's cats temporarily. It took her a couple of weeks to warm up to the other cats. She has also been around children since she was a kitten (my daughter is 4). My daughter has been clawed by her before, but I believe it was just due to Fluffy not wanting to be held anymore any my daughter wanting to continue to hold her. She is a very sweet cat. She will come up to you and rub all over your legs, she even will come and lay with you. She is young - so she does still have that wild spunk to her at times. She can be very playful. Unfortunately I have had some unforeseen events occur recently and I am needing to re home my cat. I just want her to go to a good loving home, where she will get PLENTY of love.

Story
Luci is a kitten sized cat! She is very shy at first but once she is used to you she loves to cuddle and lay on you (especially on your shoulder like a pirate!). She was born somewhere around March of 2015 and has never been outside (although I think she would like it. if it she were spayed we would have let her out)

Story
Lulu is wonderful little 6 year old gal. She's always looking for a lap or a pet, or someone to play with. She is a beauty and a great companion, she is the cat that I always wanted. Its just that's its been difficult to give her the time and affection she needs with a growing family. Her original family abandoned her in Angola NY, when they were evicted from their home. My former coworker lived next door and acted as a foster Mom for Lulu for a few months until I could move into my home. She has been my best friend while I have been home with my babies, but I worry I can't give her the attention she needs. I thought I could be her forever home, but it just doesn't look like its going to be. Please let me know if you think can find a spot for Lulu in your heart and you home.

Story
Female, neutered. Calico, short hair. About 9 years old. Has been around dogs and another cat. Likes to cuddle on her terms. Was my daughter's cat but went off to college and didn't work out when she came back so I kept her. She loves to eat, she's a little fatty! She loves my husband and will follow him wherever he goes. She can be playful when she wants.

Story
Luna Gray and White DSH Adult/Male Neutered with donations to VFA In a foster home Luna is playful, affectionate and loves attention. He wants to be with you all the time and will walk around your feet to keep up with you. He is not happy about sharing you with other cats - so he needs to be your only kitty. He would also do best in a home with no children.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved. There is a $60 fee for any animal which needs to be cash or a check - NO CREDIT CARDS. If the animal is not spayed or neutered, there is a $35 deposit which will be returned upon proof of surgery. If Volunteers For Animals spayed or neutered the animal, we are suggesting adopters make a donation of $35 to help with the cost of the surgery which is significantly less than if you had to go to a vet. All of that donation will go directly towards spaying and neutering the next animal we take into the Shelter. All dogs must be licensed before leaving the Shelter. Please note that public offices that issue dog licenses are not open on Saturdays and Sundays. All cats must leave in a carrier.   Thank you for considering a homeless animal.

Story
Bella Calico DSH Adult/Female Spayed with donations to VFA Although Bella has been in foster care for several months she is still shy. She is a good cat.  She adores the other cat in her foster home.  They play and sleep together.  Some evenings when both dogs and the cat are stretched out on the sofa with her foster mom, Bella will come and lie with everyone.  Bella loves to sit and gaze out the window by the hour.  She thinks she can catch the birds as they fly by.  She has killed every fly that dares to enter the home. Bella tolerates the two dogs. She isn't afraid of them and comes into the pack when it is meal time.  She is quite vocal if she doesn't get hers first. She loves sliced ham and turkey! We hope we can find a loving home for Bella - someone who will accept that she is shy but still loves her humans as well as any cat or dog friends.   Here is the adoption process:   To adopt an animal you must complete an application and be approved.
