Calico kittens & cats in Plattsburgh, New York

I have had Eddie since he was only 3 weeks old. I found him on Craigslist after some people had posted that they rescued a litter of kittens who's mom had abandoned them. He's been a wonderful little buddy to have but I now have a baby at home and unfortunately we are surrounded by a wooded area that is loaded with ticks and Eddie is bringing them into the house on a daily basis. I'm concerned for the safety and health of my baby which has brought me to the difficult decision to find a new home for my beloved buddy. He's about 9 years old. He's great with other animals (and a great hunter if you have mice around you!). I'm looking for a home that allows him to both be outdoors and roam as well as have a warm place to sleep and snuggle inside when he wants to. Please feel free to ask me any questions you may have! I'd really like for him to go to a good home so I ask that you please only inquire if you are seriously interested and plan to give him a long-term home. Thank you.

Carmella is a young adult cat; maybe a year or two old. She is still adjusting to the settings and commotion of the shelter. She is a sassy little thing so far. The shelter staff are still getting to know her and learn her personality. We will update as we learn more about her. Carmella will be spayed and vaccinated prior to adoption.
