Story
BISCOTTI and her brother TRISCUIT are a sweet pair of 11-month-old siblings who are very close and share a special bond. BISCOTTI is a fluffy torbie girl with a unique orange face. She loves attention and will be the first to greet you at the door at your return with a sweet mellow and gentle purr. She’ll happily tell you about her day, and she has a lot to say! She also loves being picked up and cuddled. Her very confident brother TRISCUIT is a long and elegant black jaguar. He is a friendly boy  and a mighty hunter of all toys. He’s independent, and while he does accept being held and cuddled a bit, only for a minute or two, please. There’s just too much to climb, play with and explore! Biscotti and Triscuit, along with their mother and 2 siblings, lost their home when their person passed away and were lovingly fostered by a volunteer. In their foster home, they got along well with six resident cats of varying ages and temperaments and an 89-lb friendly resident dog. Biscotti and Triscuit are extremely bonded and must be adopted together - the sponsored adoption fee for the pair is $150 (normally $225 for 2 young cats). They are both darling, sweet siblings who just want to love their people in their forever home. While otherwise in excellent health, Biscotti and Triscuit have some gum issues and have received appropriate dental treatment. Their teeth will need to continue to be monitored in the future. They have been tested for feline leukemia and FIV (negative), altered, microchipped, vaccinated, defleaed and dewormed, and include a free vet wellness exam. To meet BISCOTTI & TRISCUIT in foster, submit an adoption application for consideration at CatRescues.org/Adopt. A volunteer will contact you within 1-3 days for a possible meet and greet. The adoption fee allows us to continue to help other cats in need.  For more information, send an email to AdoptInfo@CatRescues.org or call 541-225-4955 option 1. Bella is one of our colony cat rescues, and we consider her Special Needs.  Bella is very friendly, loves to head bonk and purr all over you.   She does OK with other cats and respectful dogs.  She and her other colony mates that we rescued have occasional congestion flare ups.  The vet thinks herpes related.  Lysine in her food has helped. Before being adopted each cat and kitten is: Tested for FIV/FELV (Negative) Treated for fleas, worms and any health issues that they may have. Microchipped.  Up to date on shots. Spayed or neutered; or have an appointment set. Fostered, and socialized.  Cost of vetting, shots, microchip, and spay/neuter are covered in the adoption fee.

Story
I got buttercup from a coworker of mine. Her cat was impregnated by an alley cat and her family couldn't keep the litter. Buttercup was born in August of 2018 and since then has been in my care. She is fully house trained, has a lot of energy and needs someone with more time to play with her. Full disclosure she plays tougher than most cats, however she has never seriously injured myself or anyone else.

Story
Karmel came to me as a foster, when her people went into hospice. She was twenty pounds(!), just a wreck of a cat since the daughter of her people did not want a cat, she had kept her in a 7’x7’ room with just a washer and dry for company, for three months, until I took her in. She was timid and shy at first, but soon warmed to the household, but is terrified of our original cat who was a feral kitten, and still a “hunter”. I hope to get Karmel a “furever” home before any damage is done to either of them. She is free-fed, uses her kitty box, and is in a home that has a door open most of the time, and has no interest in going outside, so no escape issues. She is content to be a bed decoration most of the day unless a ribbon gets near her, and then “it is on!” Lol. She would do great in a home with no small kids. She currently lives with three large crazy dogs, and has no problem with them. She does have a funny fascination with soft blankets though. Lol.
