Her fur colors are brown white and orange.  She is loving smart  and playful.  Caramel would do well in a home with children as she is gentle while playing with them. Napping by your side and gazing out windows are some of her favorite activities. Her purr is loud and joyful.  It may take a few days for Caramel to get comfortable in her new forever home but once she is  your patience will be rewarded with an affectionate girl.  Caramel gets along with other cats and kittens.  She has not been exposed to dogs.  Her foster mom knows she will make a wonderful pet. Adoption fee includes spay/neuter microchip FELV/FIV test rabies and FVRCP vaccine deworming flea treatment.Download application:  http://sanantonioferalcats.org/media/2016/03/application-adoption-revised-2-2016.pdfCourtesy post All fosters under San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes and fully vetted with FVRCP/Rabies Vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, Microchipping and Combo Tested for Heartworms/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus/Feline Leukemia. Story
Having been abandoned at her home, Belinda was becoming accustomed to hanging out with a group of colony cats at an apartment nearby. January cold snaps were a bit more than she was able to accept though, and decided to take a much bolder approach. Returning to the house next door to her old home, Belinda began body slamming the back door. It worked. Mary allowed her in. Because Mary was being transferred to another state for work, and had signed a “no animals” lease she could not take Belinda.Tests showed Belinda to be FIV positive. Not contagious to anybody or anything except another cat ONLY IF there is a DEEP penetrating bite wound. Belinda is well and doing fine.Nothing about Belinda’s life before abandonment is known. Belinda does have a scar just above her back foot indicating she was once caught in a snare or steel-jaw trap.Fostering has shown Belinda to be a Velcro-cat-attention-hog who gets along with other cats. Belinda does a fine job helping you hold the bed down at night.Contact: Susan, 210-803-9334, susanschmahlenberger@msn.com All fosters under San Antonio Feral Cat Coalition: Community Cat Adoption Program are fostered privately through foster homes and fully vetted with FVRCP/Rabies Vaccinations, Spay/Neuter, Microchipping and Combo Tested for Heartworms/Feline Immunodeficiency Virus/Feline Leukemia.
